Well slowly but surely, I have been making progress on my Raven Guard Sicaran.  After discussing the remodel of the hobby room I began working on the Sicaran by painting the tracks. I used Vallejo Metal Color Steel and focused on the tracks at the top of the tank. and then I painted the Exhaust stacks with Vallejo Metal Color Exhaust Manifold.

I really like the Vallejo Metal Color Steel and Exhaust Manifold, and wanting a gunmetal and brass color from the range,  so I began looking for more pots of it online yesterday morning, Unfortunately there is no brass in the Vallejo Metal Color line.  I found a Online Retailer Gnomish Bazaar that had all 3 Vallejo Metal Colors in stock and also had Vallejo Game Color Brassy Bras in stock so I order them.  While thinking about it I jumped over to Burbank House of Hobbies where I get a lot of my Vallejo paints from, and picked up some items. I purchased Vallejo Weathering Industrial Thick Mud, Industrial Splash Mud and Streaking Grime.

Last night after kids went to bed and before Fiancé got home from yoga, I resumed painting the tracks.  Once that was done I grabbed the Vallejo Metal Color Chrome, put it on the vortex mixer only to fond out the paint and pigment separated and is unusable.....I and there is no shaker ball in the pot either. Looking through my paint collection for a light silver, I was able to find Scale 75 Speed Metal. On to the mixer and a few coats later vision slits, sensors, and spotlight had their metal color.

Working a half day today cause I do every Friday, taking 2 of the kids out for a dinner after their appointments, and then leaving for a quick overnight stay in Tucson, I am hoping to get some time today but realistically it won't be until Sunday and Monday new furniture arrives.
