White Star Marine WIP by Pleasuredome

A chapter idea put together by Pleasuredome that I don't think he ever completely fleshed out...

His original inspiration was a chapter called the White Stars - Don't know who owned it - can find it "searchy" goes crazy with just white and stars as inputs...

Anyways - they are WIP but I like it - Think it's one of the few times I have seen the helmet on the right where I like it...

It was recommended that this could be a good representation of the Invaders Chapter (Canon chapter - with a lighter green colored armor and a skull super-imposed over a white star for a chapter logo)

A great suggestion by Isiah (moderator): "Just thought of something else you could use on vehicles (even on marines): Invasion Stripes. Yes those black and white stripes painted on allied aircraft during the D-Day and subsequent European campaign."

His formula for the US OD Green

"Green :

Catachan green airbrushed over black .

Shadows are VMC Black Glaze + GW Black ink watered down (basilally my standard metal wash).

Hightlights are catachen green + White."
