Lorgar, Primarch of the Word Bearers

Alt-Verse story:

When Lorgar was reprimanded by the Emperor, he fell into depression and, whilst in his chambers, wondered why his father would do such a thing. He was later approached by Kor Phaeron and Erebus, who suggested to him that they could all worship certain other gods, who would be appreciative and even demanding of their zealous worship. But their plan was not to be. Lorgar's eyes snapped to attention as their heretical words passed through his ears. As the Primarch stood up from his seat, the two traitors realised their mistake. Lorgar then leaped at them in a rage and attacked them. Both Kor Phaeron and Erebus held him at bay, but as powerful as they were together, they could not hope to stop their raging Primarch.

Suddenly, Lorgar's personal guard burst into his chambers, having heard the commotion. Lorgar himself was relatively unharmed, but the two traitors escaped through a Warp portal. But before he fled, Erebus let loose a dire threat to Lorgar - one that could spell doom for the entire human race!
