My first conversion in about 2 years... my first sensible on

Ok, so after falling out of the GW loop for about two years, due to the rest of my life having the temerity to demand my time, I'm making a concerted effort to get back into the swing of things... well, the modelling at least (my regular gaming partner of old and I are no longer on speaking terms, to put it politely)!

So, here we have my first GW purchase in over two years, a RT marine with bolter and bolt pistol!

He's going to be a simple conversion, just a little limb bending, to start me off gently, kinda ease my way back into things. Lifted his left leg a little, so he can pose triumphantly with the lopped-off head of an old-style plastic Khorne Berzerker. Managed to get my hands on a couple of the old RT style backpacks, so he's getting close to being ready for some undercoating.

The pink stuff on the base is to represent paving slabs, BTW!
