I quite like this guy, I imagine this being after Isstvan and more during the mech civil war, his armour has a lot of nods to Corax’s own, which I like since it was the only person within the legion to acknowledge him, maybe that’s why the iconography is so emboldened, I also quite like the skulls, at this point Raven skulls weren’t a largely used motif by the legion so the moritat having them is a nice touch given his murderous tendencies. His head is sadly a miss and the head from the upgrade set will be far better with some painted stubble, the edge highlighting while nutty impressive, is too much all in all pretty good hit for me! while nothing like the art I think having a super modified MK6 armour reflects the war he’s been fighting mostly alone

I’ve spent a bit of time trying to look into the details of this mini, normally there’s Easter eggs, and I’ve noticed that the logo on his shoulder pad that appears to be a damaged World Eaters logo is in fact not that, you can tell by looking at the new Fangs of the Emperor logo on his tilt shield, and then have a look on Warcom at his Belt Buckle, it’s shows the same Fanged Skull but with a Halo above it, the Halo intact has Teeth, so it seems to be a new logo that is a mockery of the old world eaters logo, further emphasising the death of his legion in his eyes, I imagine he created this new logo between the events of red fief/broken chains and his meeting with Malcador’s emissaries on Beta Garmon, which would explain it getting damaged again during those events following

Tbh I would say blood bowl is not custodial, last year it has a release every month, and was the only specialist game (other than heresy) to get an end of year review far more than necromunda has had in years, I would also say Heresy is split between both studios now GW does the plastics

Yes sorry, I meant seeing as this is not Volume 2 of exemplary battles, and is a campaign book the same as Siege of Cthonia it will be likely to receive models. Especially since they’re named single characters and forgeworld seem to only produce those of late for Heresy

They will almost certainly get models for the characters mentioned, being Endryd Haar and Shadrak Meduson, all books being put out with rules get models so far in 2.0 however more than those characters could also come, seeing as they said “characters such as…”

On warcom I believe they said they’d be the first to see the next army, that could mean models, or a PowerPoint slide with a name ahaha! I reckon they’d show old returning models of the army and maybe one new one from either forgeworld or gw team

Black library models tend to join main range even though the box arts stay BL , so I’d say he counts :) but only if he remains named like the custode and sister of silence, whereas the captain messenius became a standard captain

I think the custodes, may be quite spartan esque (given he has a shield) I think something akin to Asterion Moloc but outside terminator armor

AOS will also see the reveal of dawnbringers book four and accompanying models. It’s due out only 2 weeks after the event date on top of the flesh eater battletome and refresh flesh eaters will be the main event since it’s the BIG reveal and they’re rumoured to get their top man himself for the first time

I honestly thought given 40 years of Warhammer they were gonna do a remake of White dwarf cosplaying in power armour (most likely primaris) as a way of looking back at the old version they did of him. 3 years running it’s been red gobbo
