Has anyone else here got the Meduson Horus Heresy Anthology? I have just started reading it. The opening story, Meduson by Dan Abnett is by far the best piece of Iron Hands fiction I have read from Black Library. I wish that Dan Abnett would write more Iron Hands stories as he understands the Heresy-era Iron Hands in a way that none of the other BL authors do. (I'm looking at you Annandale and McNeill!!) He also does away with a lot of the 41st Millennium trappings that other BL authors seem to have copied and pasted onto the Heresy-era Iron Hands. All in all, Meduson is a stunning opener to this anthology. I'm hoping that the rest of the book lives up to it, as this is the most interested I've been in Black Library for years.

The book isnt out yet, but... I dont think thisll be good... The blog preview ( https://www.warhammer-community.com/2017/05/20/new-from-the-black-library/ ) mentions it features Stronos (blegh), and that he and his warriors are forced to " confront and reconsider their beliefs about the weakness of the flesh and the strength of metal". ... why do they do this? Its as if they want to make IH as bland as vanilla as possible... :(

I'm trying to compile a chronology of Iron Hands stories. I know not all may not have direct references to each other, and I may be missing a few tales in this list. I began using main characters or limited appearances of them to go by. I would appreciate any input offered. Hail Sons of the Gorgon, I am researching the legends and tales of the Iron Hands and compiling a list of future purchases for my own archives. I thought it may be of interest to others seeking lore regarding the chapter. If anyone can share any published stories, eBooks etc. which I have missed, please comment below and I will add the entry into the list. As best as I could, I separated them between the Horus Heresy and the later 40,000 era. Without knowing the stories, I couldn't begin to guess at a chronological order, so alphabetical seemed the wisest method. Using the Black Library, here is the list so far.
