Hi all Looking for some input on the list that follows. My main question here is; Should I run 2 x 10 Effirt w/ 10 Melta bombs and 10 Daggers or 2 x 10 Veterans w/ 10 Power lances, 10 Banestrike bolters and a Rhino (bare). I'm worried its too generalist and will struggle vs dedicated assault or shooting armies. Am i missing anything I should be prepared to deal with but I am not. Is anything here woefully inefficient (I know lernaeans aren't the best, but innate line is nice). I plan on requesting night fighting each game, infiltrate the lerneans onto Obj and then flank with veteran rhinos (or info/scout the Effrit). Pred Hvy Conv beamers are there to render one whole table corner a killing field and 3 Lernean beamers are for cross map shooting so they cannot be ignored. My local meta is assault heavy, with a DA terminator brick army (PotL), a WB Gal Vorbak Horde (DB), a Melee BA list (Unknown Rite) and only one semi-shooting army in the mix being DG Reaping List. Hey guys, So to start off, I dont know if this list will ever get to face off on a table, but in case it does get the chance, i want to make it playable enough for it to do so. The main purpose is to be an art project of sorts, making all the unique units the XIII have, and subsequent support units to go along with them to make it a viable force. It's all being made with truescale versions of the models; not getting into the specifics there, but they'll be a bit taller than a primaris mini and have fancy armour bits to make them look more roman in design, as part of keeping it a project that'll be fun to build and paint. I'm going Pride of the Legion because i want mainly infantry, and the majority of the XIII's unique units are all infantry anyway. Adding Guilliman makes it a clean 3000pts. This basically covers all 8 unique units they have at this point if i include Guilliman. It also leaves open a spot to split the tactical squad into 2 groups of 10 for objectives if i needed to.

Grateful for the forum's guidance and clarification regarding the following Limitation on the Pride of the Legion RoW: "An army using this RoW may not include more non-Infantry units than it does Infantry units" My question is - do Dedicated Transports count as non-Infantry units in this context? Or are they seen as a component option of the parent Infantry unit, not an independent unit? many thanks.

Bit of advice needed on this. While this is more of a list based around 'things I already have and/or think are cool', any tips of making this a relatively balance POTL list would be appreciated.
