Here's another Team fortress 2 Reference in my army. This grot is wearing the same helmet as the TF2 demoman's Sober Stantman, itself a reference to the legendary stuntman, Evel Knievel. This will ensure this plucky grot walks away from his daring stunts. -

I added this to my stompa because in the first set of rules for the stompa the rockets on the model were more accurate than normal shooting due to grot steering so I decided to add a grot bomb launch rack. In my head I pictured that the grot was told he was being given a fighter, but when he dives into an attack, the steering controls just snap off when he tries to pull up. It fits in with the fairly dark humour of the ork background. -

Here's a large Kustom Force Field array made from Tau drones and some landing gear. Sadly I dont think Stompas are allowed to take this wargear. It was originally an upgrade from the Dread Mob in Apocalypse. I also got to play around with some orange lighting effects on the chimney stack too. -
