In an effort to get a shiny gloss to my Land Raider I hastily mixed some gloss floor polish with Chaos Black. Result is a very nasty overcoat which appears very blotchy, and has caused havoc to the grey blue highlighting and white insignias. Will attempt to repair but I think will have to re coat and start again. Fortunately I didn't do same to the Land Speeder. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Although this time, I really got something of it, because of the vow I've been painting a lot of other things as well! The Rhino is finished, my EC is not. I've included 2 pictures, but I don't have my camera here atm so pics with the phone (baaaaad, bad.. I cant seem to focus!!). Anyway, if I would have focussed on the vow I would have finished the EC, the EC is almost half way done, and I'm sure I can't finish him before this thread closes, plus I don't want to rush him as well! Now I know this doesn't belong here, so I'll just post a link, but also before Jasper will come to give me *once again* punishment with his paddle, here a sneak of one of the things I've been working on! Two weeks away took this to the last moments and to be honest, the bases could still do with some attention. The same squad can be converted to supplement the crusade squads if needed (and if the shoulder guard colours are ignored), as the backpacks are magnetised: Now to burn some witches and other xenos. Naglfar Posted August 21, 2011 Share Posted August 21, 2011 I Naglfar, have completed my vow of painting 10 initiates. The picture is horrid, and the paint job is not what it could be either. But I assure you, I have a valid explanation for it all. Firstly, the camera did not agree with the lighting at all. Secondly, it was done with a camera I am unfamiliar with. Secondly .. most of my time since accepting the vow and till now have gone into visiting old castles. The chief of them being Marienburg. The former headquarters and beating heart of the Teutonic Order. Consider it a sort of Penance Crusade. And for those who haven't been there .. the thing is huge.
