Walter Payton
If I had to do the trailer, I would have a revolving shot of Clive Owen as the Emperor, with the 'And they shall know no fear,' speech. When it gets to, And they shall know no fear, the camera pans upwards to his face. Music starts. Shot of World Eaters attacking an enemy. Cuts to Black Screen with "In the Grim Darkness of the far future," Cuts to Horus (Russel Crowe) fighting Eugen Temba (as daemon, pre daemonic played by Sean Connery) 'The conquest of the stars is nearly complete'-Black screen. Shot of Tarik Torgaddon (Sean Bean) planting standard of the Luna Wolves. Betrayal- Written across black screen Cuts to Saul Tarvitz (Mark Strong) fighting with Lucius (CGI-so he can move quickly) Cuts to Battles on Istvaan III Cuts to Erebus (Ed Harris) laughing evilly and summoning daemons On June 23rd- Black Screen Brother will fight Brother-BlackScreen Cuts to Khârn (Helmeted through whole film),fighting Loken (Ioan Grufudd) Cuts to Emperor fighting Horus (Russel Crowe) And the flame of humanity- Black Screen Cuts-Imperial Palace, undamaged Will be snuffed out-black screen Imperial Palace, under siege Shot of Sanguinius (Orlando Bloom) rising into air, Holding Bloodthirster. Breaks Bloodthirster's back over his knee. Music stops. Black Screen Cuts to Rogal Dorn(Viggo Mortensen) and Malcador (Ian Mackellen) RD: How many? MtS: Millions. RD: And ourselves? MtS: Thirty Thousand, perhaps more. RD: I like those odds (grins) Black Screen-For in the thirty first millenium, Black Screen-There is only war Cuts to Angron (Peter Capaldi) in full armour. Screams war cry and smashes screen with axe, End of trailer Cuts to an ad for a new Chrysler SUV Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/130786-horus-heresy-movie-fictitious/page/15/#findComment-2229232 Share on other sites

Interrogator-Chaplain Ezra
Tad pale to be a big red dude too, but look how that worked out. In that case because he had the look. He does not, in any way, have the look of Vulkan. Far too cave-man in appearance. Walter Payton
Sean Connery would also give us a brilliant line at the 1st Siege of the Emperor's Palace: 1st day. Rogal Dorn, Nathaniel Garro (Ioan Gruffud), Malcador (Michael Gambon) and Iacton Qruze (Geoffrey Rush) and Sanguinius (Orlando Bloom) standing atop wall. Horus (Russel Crowe), Perturabo (The man who played Narmonov in 'The Sum of all Fears') and Angron (Peter Capaldi) standing below. Maloghurst (Scott Glenn) is holding a flag of truce. Dies Irae and Legio Mortis are standing behind the traitors. Horus: You have no chance, brothers. Surrender, and I will spare your souls. Resist, and your souls will scream in the fondling touch of the Dark Gods. Your lives are already forfeit.' Sanguinius (snarls): We might as well offer you the same chance, traitor! Horus laughs Horus: Such spirit, such determination. But ultimately futile. You will not triumph this day. Behind him, Dies Irae trains its cannon on the gate Horus: I repeat my offer. Rogal Dorn: You expect us to surrender? Horus:: No, old friend. I expect you to die! Walter Payton
If there is one man born to play the angriest man in the universe, Primarch of a legion not quite as angry but pretty damn close. Ever watched In the Loop? Here are some clips from it and the TV series that spawned it: I challenge any man to find better anger than that. Oh, and all you Brits out there may find this abhorrent, but: Peter Mandelson as the Emperor? Grand Master Tyrak
Oh, and all you Brits out there may find this abhorrent, but: Peter Mandelson as the Emperor? I thought another 40k being had already taken the 'Prince of Darkness' nickname? :) It's scary stuff, but it's probably too political for the B&C. Primarch015
See, I agree with you guys about Jason Isaacs, but the problem is that there doesn't seem to be anyone to top him as Fulgrim. John Malkovich maybe a tongue in cheek version, but if you are trying to be accurate with the fluff i honestly cant see Malkovich being fulgrim. maybe Malcador or Horus' equerry. Fulgrim is supposed to have sculpted features and is handsome and pale. Malkovich is too aged to achieve that look imo. Jason Isaacs would be my top choice for sure.
