this may sound strange, but where on earth is that flamer from? mine looks nothing like it!

as a fellow templar player, I must say this army looks fantabulus and that an army like this would be beyond awesome, possibly in the best army winning category.

In short, where is the flamer from and you are a very good painter.

thanks all, now it will be a while for that army pic. right now im just working on the troops. two six man and one fifteen man. besides that, im not to sure how the army is going to look. i working for the gt in baltimore. and it takes me about a week for one fig, because of work and life. but im working on it.

the flamer i made out of a melta-bolter combi. and used the ig flamer for bits. the ig flamer has a bigger end and i just think it looks alot cooler than the marine flamer. i just wanted to make the flamer look big and bad not little. here is another flamer i did for a different army im working on.

This is a really good looking army. What chapter are the yellow and green guys? Salamanders or some sort of Sons of Salies or something?

There have been too many poorly painted Black Templar armies inflicted on the world, good to see the Iron Cross gettin' some extra love.

I thought so, going by the Chapter Symbols I thought Scythes of the Emperor, but aren't they purple or something? Maybe I just want to paint everything purple, I blame Tim Burton's "Batman".

You could make the Hakanor's Reavers your arch rivals, they have scythes on their ensignia, I know because I had to paint the damn thing.

Nice job so far. I really like the little doodads you put on your marines. It really makes them pop. Personally I like the soul collectors better than the BT's they are unique looking. The BT's look nice too I just like Soul Collectors better. Also the BT flamer, Scout, and Serg look awesome, but I dont like the C&C marine that much. I think you over did it with the checkered pattern on his chainsword.

Wow. Just... Wow. Normally I'm not at all a fan of the BT scheme or look, but you've really made it look hot.

It's clean and sharp and the level of detail just blows me away.

If you BT types drank, I'd offer you a pint in the Great Hall...

i didn't think you can overdue a crusade marine. he has that for a reason. a bt crusade marine would have all kinds of markings and different honor badges. each crusade has its own badge. a shield that is red and white in different patterns. the shield of the marshal that leads that individual crusade. the crusade that i picked is checkerboarded red and white in this way. each marine will have the shield on their right leg and some will have it painted on their armor as a battle honor given to them by the high marshal himself. but please, you all, let me know if it is too much.

You've got the skill to pour all that intricate work into every single Templar miniature you do, so why not show off? Doing so will ensure your painting skills continue to improve. It's all about creating the personality and history you imagine for each marine, and I don't see the harm in getting imaginative. Now, maybe some would say there's too many colours all over the place after seeing the GW studio BT armies over course of their different iterations, and would rather see black and white checkers on the chainsword, or none at all. A matter of personal taste is all. Like how you've decided on red for the parchment on the purity seals. Everything combined, your Crusade looks very original and genuine.

That's a standard generic Chaplain model from the SM range.

infamousagenda-

I don't think Sugar-free "over did it" with the checkered pattern on the chainsword. It looks awsome. Probably the best painting I've ever seen! Maybe your just jealous because you wish you could paint like that guy. Lets see your figs...or are you scared?
