Un holy moly... That's even better than I had imagine with paint on smile.png can I ask how you managed to get the lighting so fine?

thanx for the comment bud ,as for the lightning i use a wet pallet and wipe the brush lightly on my thumbnail to get a fine point ,it takes a while to do but i think the time taken is worth it

Great work as usual DC...nice to see all the details brought out in the painting that were hard to see in the wip

The Gal Vorbak are stunning! And while I have to admit I wasn't perfectly sold on the Terminator lord during the building stage, the painted model is absolutely fantastic! Good call on the dark green/turquoise!

cheers for the comments ,i know what you mean about the sculpt,it was a bit of trial and error rebuilding the legs and torso from scratch,and i wasnt sure it had worked but now its got some paint splattered on i am pleased with the outcome

Dang man, the Daemonclaw just words can't describe that. He is a perfect representation of what chaos marines should be. The Gal Vorbak look great too, question though are they one piece models? Mainly wondering about the legs.

thanks mate , i wanted to try and emulate the 3rd edition darker look crossed with the warhammer chaos knights as its how i would have loved to have seen them.

as for the gal vorbak they are mainly one piece with a couple of separate hands

Awesome Gal Vorbak! That Lord is totally off the chain! Great colour scheme, paint job and the sculpting on the armour is brilliant. These really make me want to get back to working on my CSMs smile.png

Where's the middle head on the top Raptors come from?

its a custom build ,the face is off a plastic horror cut to fit the front of a marine helmet.....fiddly work but i am happy with the result

hey all just a wee update on some work on a termy for the call of chaos
