ok  update on pusty ..i decided to get right out of my comfort zone on this one and try painting him up using mostly washes

The converted Nurgle Lord is nothing short of spectacular from a conversion standpoint! I do have to admit I would have gone for a different head, to make him look like a Marine (albeit a mutated one), rather than a Plague Bearer.

The converted Nurgle Lord is nothing short of spectacular from a conversion standpoint! I do have to admit I would have gone for a different head, to make him look like a Marine (albeit a mutated one), rather than a Plague Bearer.

I love the work you are doing on the 30k TS just one comment I think the scarab on the left leg needs to line up better as the line between the wing section looks off to me

Everything in here is awesome sauce but the lightning in particular for me. I struggle to get my lines looking natural but you really nailed them

cheers psy-crow loving what you are doing in your thread.

the lightning is a hard beast and i have struggled for a long time to get it looking half decent,i found the best way is a wet pallet and trail off most of the paint as you get more control.its time consuming but worth it

Wow. I'm genuinely excited to see where that Lorgar conversion goes. Even this early on in the conversion, it's amazing how you've transformed such a static base model into a much more dynamic pose.
