thanx for the kind words

bro nihm@ its a hell of a compliment coming from the night lord maester and there will be more ,i am currently doing a bike a termy and a couple guys for D'araks squad and am quite happy with the way these guys turned out.

200plus @ hope you had a pleasant time away and as for chaos listen to the voices join the minions and we will overthrow the stagnant beaurocratic false empire of man (insert manic laughing).the thing i love about chaos is there are so many possibilities to utilise different kits from all the ranges

You are a sick and twisted person man this is one of the best threads i this forum damn i wish i could paint like that

thanx for looking and commenting

cheers D ;)

thanx for the comments guys

as for the nightlords i use midnight blue basecoat over black spray .i add 20%ice blue for the edge highlight .then the lightning is watered down iceblue followed by 90%white +10%iceblue

Looking really good, I love the psychadelic nature of your minis.

The checkered bases contrast nicely with the armour and the freehand on all your miniatures is beyond belief.

Why are there so many cool models in PC&A as of lately?

You guys inspire me but I have almost nothing to paint until Payday. :pinch:

Very Very Nice.

Any chance of a tutorial on how to model the Termators Shin?

I have to say I really love the idea behind your army not to mention being insanely jealous of your painting skills.

Disciple

Edit: The Dark Gods of Chaos did not bless me with the ability to spell. Mabye I should put that in my sig haha

thanx for the comments

dark disciple the shin pad was pretty simple but time consuming ,score a lie across the termy leg about a millimetre depth ,and then gently scrape or cut up in a gradient upwards to the line .here is a pic i knocked up hope it helps

cheers D :)

These look stunning, incredible freehand work. Invokes a Chaos meets Tron feel.

Looking at the pics I can't tell if it's the lighting source or if there's a smudge on the camera lens, each pic has a slight blur effect in almost the same spot (slightly off center in the middle) You might want to clean the lens just in case there's a finger print or dust. If not it may be a light refraction, what type of camera are you using?

Awesome work! A mesmerizing army to look at. Your painting skills make me jealous!

One thought for ya. The warp energy base you tested for the sorceror temie was awesome but you could expand on that, and with your skills it shouldn't be an issue for you to accomplish.

Use a normal termie base but sculpt the warp energy with green stuff and have it radiating outwards from a central point directly beneath the miniature, but leave "normal" earth at the edge of the base. The intended effect is the warp energy surrounding the miniature is corrupting the earth beneath the sorceror as he moves along. You could even make a warp energy wake trail behind him to enhance this effect!

thanks again for the comments

dark disciple @vauhl is on a termporary hold as i cannot seem to get him right and have had to strip the greenstuff a few times :o .i will get back to him when i sort out my sculpting skills.

paulson games@well spotted i am using a coolpix 4800 and i have a tiny chip on the lens :(

volchek@interresting idea ,though i think iwill keep it on the back burner for the moment as i am doing another squad of resurrected .but then you never know when inspiration will hit and you start another project ;)

heres some progress on the nightlords rhino
