I second that, but he needs to have a Rambo-style headband, as well as a scar over one eye.

I want to see a Horseman, A la Apocalypse four horseman.

 

Make it Unaligned.. the horse would be of Quite heavy like a shirehorse but conventional in it's shape, so it's recognisable as a horse, and not just as a daemonic mount. For the for details and skin think: D'korps gene altered horse meets a chaos Spawn. Brandish it's Hide with Marks of chaos and such, give it spikes running down it's spine.. make sure it's chaos ;)

Maybe give it some armour along the shoulders, face and hide. Like Juggernauts.. but keep a lot of it as flesh.

 

The rider should be heavily built, to match the bulk of the shire horse-esque steed with most of it's face obscured by a ragged hood. If you're going to reveal any of his face.. give it a skeletal sharp toothed grin. Bulk up his armour.. skull motifs and marks of chaos galore. Think: Archaon but bigger.. and daemonic

Make sure the armour looks natural and chaos though.. not some conventional plated shapes.. make it look organic in places.. merge it with the riders flesh. Like the titan crew in the FW chaos warhound.

If you're going to be really fancy.. merge the rider and the steed together... give the rider legs.. but start lacing and meshing the flesh and plates together.. like the two are inseperable and the same.

 

as for pose.. Let's say a rocky precipice.. the horse is standing firm on the edge.. head is low.. placid.

 

The riders has sitting upright, in his first hand, he's holding a massively cool Daemon hammer or Possibly a great big Daemon Lance, His other hand is raised forward.. the taloned fingers beconing forward in a 'come and get me' gesture. Make sure to twist the torso forward with the taloned hand to carry through the gesture.

 

hang skulls.. skeletons.. guardsman and all sorts from the saddle and armour plates of the horse.. depends on how big it is though.

a chaos demon undivided ( or all divided ) standing with his hands in the air and looking upwards while screaming as if he is summoning something,

 

his chest/belly should be made nurgle

his legs made of lots of tzeench tentacles that he stand on

one rather normal arm ( khorne ) but instead of hand it should go out in a axe head with a double head.

the other hand should be slanneshi and have a huge crap claw or a normal hand holding a whip

the head of a nurgle demon but shaped in female form and instead of nose and mouth have a bird nose ( dont remember the friggin name ) tzeench style, and big round khornage horns.

personally, i would be interested in seeing a more sensual yet tortured daemonette, one that while you can tell she's been through some major bdsm (hooks/rings through the skin and such), she can still come off as angelicly gorgeous. daemonettes are supposed to entrance you with their beauty while they rip you apart, yet.... how can those hideous models pull that off?

 

a more serpentine keeper of secrets, something powerful, but sleek and sexy. (at least something cooler than boobie the 4 armed minotaur GW has)

 

how about someone in the throes of possession or better yet, a daemonhost (DH hosts were awful). coming up through the floor, or in the middle of some psychic casting, swirling daemonic energies all around him/her.

I always had an image in my mind of a cool greater deamon, imagine if you will an eldar avatar, with the whole cracked lava/magma for skin crossed with the greater deamon of khorne with elongated skull horns and canine teeth, something that resembles a giant beastman head would give the right image, give him cloven feet and a loincloth.

As for a pose how about bark arched backwards with his head back and arms out and up to the sides. Kinda howling at the moon effect going on

A rather simple idea for a sculpt, but one that might appeal to a wider range of players- A few "basic" rank and file marines in Crusade-era armour. You could either model them with arms, or leave the arms off for more "customizin'" from the players at large. With the currently popularity of the Horus Heresy series, you'd appeal to Marine players of both Loyalist AND Traitor philosophies...

I would like to see a hugely massive demon of Khorne slowly lumbering off to war. Instead of seeing one in fullblooded battlefrenzy I thought it would be cooler to try and convey the menace eminating from a "docile" (have this word EVER been used to describe anything Khorne ?) demon, whom none the less clearly gives off a vibe that it will rip you to shreds the second you get in its way.

The angles in the drawing i did of the body is all wrong - the axe is supposed to rest on his shoulder with the head of the mace trailing behind him ( in the picture it almost looks like he has it raised before him)

 

Regarding the legs I´m thinking that they should be somewhat short, in order to enhance his hulking stature - I don´t have any opinion on whether they should be normal or "goaty"

Gotta stick to them horsemen though... What was it. A bow, a Sword, a scythe(?) and what else was it?

 

As for the pose though could I suggest something. Rather than have the free hand beckoning for his enemies hows bout he's just holding the reigns? Idk, when you described the scene I got that he was standing on the edge of a cliff surveying the scene bellow(Peaceful space port below maybe?). Another thing you could do is make the horses skin look stretched over its body. Like its soo buff that its skin may not contain it much longer. It would help to stress the daemonic aspect of the mount. The rider sounds perfect to me ^_^ . Love it!

How about a bunch of guards ganging up on a greater deamon. Jumping all over his back, hanging on arms and legs, stabbing, punching, kicking, bitting. A bad ass never say die moment. I think the guard don't get enough respect, even though they do most of the heavy lifting.
