The 2 unnamed Legions, will they ever be revealed?

Given these data, I now plunge into my final speculation. I am aware, by the way, that I mix freely between using meta-arguments and fluff-inherent points; especially between disregarding some points and backing others. I just try to explain how it all fits together from my point of view, though :)

- First: It amazes me how everyone still sticks with them being purged by Imperial authorities. I wonder if I overread it, but there is one other option still. That they themselves, by some means, decided to erase themselves from mankinds collective memory. That they went into hiding, or on a secret mission of their own design, and took measures beforehand to ensure noone would be following them.

I just wanted to reply to your first point real quick.

- Its wasnt the Imperium that deleted the records. It was the Emperor, no one else could have been able to do it give all the other departments that are involved with a Legion. Although I did want to note very quickly that at the time of the deletion, there were no High Lords of Terra nor an Imperial Inquisition. Those didn't arrive until after the HH, and we know from given sources that both Legions were deleted before the HH, but are still around during the HH, just "lost to us"

well....i'm just amazed that most think they might get hidden or that they are something like the alpha legion in legion (which is bull:cuss) because what are marines made for not something like spies or big bond guyes they are a brutal hammer which crushes the emperors enemies for secret mission it would be the officio assasiorum which takes part, every one should be happy that they are lost and thats it, their dead or traitor but surely lost and i hope they stay because i cant read anymore of those bad hh books (legion mechanicum)

And it has been stated that it is IMPOSSIBLE for female SM's...I think it may be possible for a Female Primarch, but that is a different story.

Impossible with the KNOW geneseed. Maybe the Emperor did the lost primach-ess with an "specialness" so they can create female space marines...Imagine two legions of female warriors... and then imagine 18 legions of male warriors trying to impress them XD

No, the gene-seed is actually said to mix with a gene only men have, (forgot what) so it would NEVER work in females, unless they are she-males...SO HA. No new gene-seed can change that, biological [fiction] impossibility.

What about the possibility that the Custodes are one of the legions and the Mysterious Grey Knights are actually the other?

The Custodes were created before the Legions, and the Grey Knights were created after the missing Legions had vanished from the Emperor's geneseed.

You know, I'm amazed that no one has brought up the most obvious thing: The Legion of the Damned.

I've heard for years that they are possibly one of the missing founding Legions, but had disappeared before the heresy, so their true legion name, colors and whatnot was lost in time.

*Raises eyebrows*

This just keeps coming up. Soon enough someone will pop up and suggest (again) that the Grey Knights and/or the Custodes are a Missing Legion.
