Brother Delias Posted January 14, 2009 Share Posted January 14, 2009 I tend to look at it like this, if the vindicare can see it, then it is not in cover, and therefore cannot get a cover save. TLOS is evil like that, and as a unit that picks and chooses what it shoots at, you get one single shot, on one single model. Is it is not at lest mostly covered, say... you only see the hand sticking up out over a ruin, then it is not covered anough to die in a most horrible way. I'll stick with vindis, they're expensive, but if you read everything in the most literal sense, they are quite literally evil units. That's just my thinking though... so don't mind me. Still, even with those "special" characters, a nice roll on them from far away is always good for before a charge. Put a round in one of em to soften em and it's still better for you than if you charge them outright. Everything has a use, from a Grey Knight Grand Master to an Ork Grot... Remember that.
