Heh heh, I can see that happening. You can just imagine it.

The scene: Horus' flagship

Horus stands over the body of Sanguinius.

[Enter The Emperor]

Horus and the Emperor converse. I'll leave this bit to Dan Abnett because he's just better than me. Let's just move on.

Horus attempts to fry the Emperor with his psychic powers.

[Enter Pius, between Horus and the Emperor]

Pius: Halt abomination!

[Dies]

Emperor: Whoa, that was quick. I thought all you bad guys did slow, lingering deaths.

Sanguinius [softly, from floor]: That was me.

Horus tries again.

[Enter a Terminator]

Terminator: Halt abomination!

[Dies]

Horus: Not again!

Horus and Co. get out various firearms and attempt to rapid-fire the Emperor to death.

[From nowhere, enter various Marines, Guardsmen, Custodes etc who promptly all take bullets for the Emperor.]

Horus: What! No more ammo?

Emperor: [Checks behind curtains] No more ablative bodies either.

Sanguinius: [softly, from floor] Father . . .

Emperor: Hang in there son, I'm going to rescue you.

Sanguinius: [softly, from floor] You've ruined my heroic sacrifice, you :cuss .

Emperor and Horus fight. You know this bit.

[Enter Rogal Dorn]

This bit will also be left to Dan Abnett.

[Exeunt all (well, Dorn exits, everyone else is dead on the floor)]

*Getting hastily back on topic*

Since I don't have the book yet, was Constantin Valdor done well?
