@MosesGunn - thanks a bunch man, glad you like them :-)

Alright chaps, here he is: The meanest, angriest and bad-ass Interrogator Chaplain - Asmodai :-) Finally finished. The sculpt is fantastic, but oh boy Finecast is a miserable piece of crap to work with! So may flaws that I lost count - some of which you couldn't correct without scraping off some of the very brittle detail.

Not a pleasure to work with no Sir'e!

Enjoy - over and out :-)

Hello Guys,

Back from the dead....or, to be more precise, back to Loyalist showcase-worthy heroes ;-)

I'm sorry for the lack of attention to this blog, but I've been painting xenos (Dark Eldar, Orks) and also some 1:35 scale WW2 models.

However, back again with a vengeance to showcase a Death Korps of Krieg Quartermaster, which was the limited edition 2013 FW Open Day model.

A blast to paint, detail super crisp and the resin was without flaws. Painted him in colors similar to my other DKOK, so he'll fit nicely along them.

Now....what to paint next?

Enjoy :-)

Thanks Guys, glad you like him :-)

@GrandMagnus: thanks a lot Buddy, I was inspired from a model on CMON, and wanted to do a camo-pattern which was sci-fi'ish and different from the usual designs.

Thanks for the praise @KrautScientist :-) I think it's a nice challenge to sometimes limit the color palette and the challenge then is to make them all function in concordance with each other.

Alright Lads, here's one I did some months back. It's actually a Fantasy model, but I've based it to count-as a Nurgle Chaos Lord. The blight knights were just such a sweet kit, and I had to own them. Pleasure to paint, and fun to make the skin seemed bruised and sickly, without going over the top with the effects.

Enjoy!

Wow, Ive always been a big fan of nurgle since it seems like the most sinister and cursed of the 4 gods and this mini is just exactly what I mean. I love the mutated leg with its rotten green flesh and the antlers.

Hey Guys,

TGIF and a hopefully long and relaxing weekend ahead :-)

I've been down with migraine for the past couple of days, so not much painting done.

However, I'd like to show you half a finished model today - actually, it's Father Christmas' sci-fi sled, aka. Logan Grimmnars chariot ;-) The rest of the model is unfinished and not begun yet.

Cheers,

/Vadskær

Hey Guys,

Back from a wonderful vacation, and I finally managed to get a new model done. It's a combination of two kits, one of the old Space Marine Captains added onto one of the newer finecast (crap!) Captains, and a head from another kit (cannot remember where).

Despite the poor quality of the resin, it was a fun project. The servo-audio-thingy was so warped that even after heating it up with a hairdryer two times and re-setting it, it kept going back to being warped. That's why I had to include the piece of architecture on the base, so it can lean against it. Jebus! :-D

The paint-job is not to my highest level. I can feel the time away from painting is taking the edge of my skills. It's slowly coming back, and I hope to paint regularly from now on.

Enjoy Guys :-)
