But that could just be me sand my picky drummer-ness. The chaplain singer could use a bit more converting. I wouldn't have him dual wielding but more incorporate it to where his Rosarius looks like a mic, like one of those studio mic deals would be an easy convert and look awesome. Saxxon the Dragoon Posted April 28, 2009 Author Share Posted April 28, 2009 well i just wanted to do something different, i didnt want all 3 guitboxes all being right handed, it would look too boring. i am still trying to get the right feel to make a SW axe, i just cant seem to find the right inspiration for viking wolves, lol. anyways heres how i am planning on painting the band members: lead guitarist: ravenguard (with references to slash) backup guitarist: space wolf (with references to yngwie malmsteem) bass guitar: salamanders (with references to BB King) drummer: ultramarine (havent figured a good reference) lead vocalist: dragoons (havent got a good reference decided) backup vocalist: sisters of bahamut (with reference to heart) keyboardist: sister of the martyred lady (no reference yet) i was just talking to a friend who i was showing the models i had built, and they said that when they come to do a concert, that they should all drop pod in. just imagine on the battle field where armies clashing when screaming pods come from the skies. bursting from the capsules comes the sound of POWERFISTED, bringing his holy word and tunes to bear on the enemies of the emperor. i want them to be an 80's themed rock band. think of saxon with songs like DOGS OF WAR, and iron maidens THE TROOPER. it would be epic. Keyboards: Cilest of the Order of the Martyred Lady and AMPNAUGHT the one with the claws is alot less, professinal this was done on purpose and matches his chapter well. its meant more to be a weapon and less for looks or playing. i thought that after it was said and done, it matched him just nicely. i had to work with what i had, and i had no SW stuff. wiplash Posted April 28, 2009 Share Posted April 28, 2009 the spacw wolf guy needs to be changed, dont get me wrong the others are great but the SW with 2 lightening claws looks weird if you changed the left arm to be a normal gun holding arm it would be fine but i dunno the guitar doesn't really look SW'y either i think u need to do the guitar agan but thats just me... and if you changed the right upper arm to be a normal SM arm with the lightening claw on it that would look much better sorry to come over negative but on the brightside i think the others look great Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

He is still going to have dual lightning claws, but his right arm will probably be raised high in the air, and I will change his claws to make the rock on hand sign. And when I get some green stuff I will make some fingers for his left arm that will be gripping the headstock. So far this project has been going pretty good and I do thank everyone for their input. As for the axe, I don't think I will be making much changes to it except for maybe green stuffing some paw prints or maybe even a leopard print design for his axe. That sound like a good idea? Battle sister groupies? like you need to ask? really, REALLY? i also plan on doing a bunch of servitor roadies with beards and ponytails. and of course have a few marines as backstage security. i also plan on using a few servo skulls that i have to have rolled paper on them with music notes flying around when i eventually get around to making it and get the bits. i plan on making 1 giant stage for the band, and having a squad of sisters in front row with arms in the air and such, and have a ton of guardsmen and such in the crowds. along with a few marines and all. i will have scouts with shotguns all on the ground with the laser wall separating the crowd from the stage. i am working on fixing the SW arms right now so that they actually have fingers and such, and when i get the green stuff (because i got off work too late to make it to the store) the wing on his axe will become part of a wolf's head. i am also converting his claws to make the rock on hand sign. and while that is drying, i am working on the drum set right now.
