No listing for the CSK(od)? :P

You have to submit your Chapter Doghouse. Can't expect Philip and Dazzo to find every Chapter on the interwebs on their own. Having tried that back in the old Liber Astartes website days I can promise you that it just simply doesn't work unless folks submit their Chapters to the people putting the reference resource together.

Ah gotcha. :FA:

Cheers mate.

Philip: Yeah these guys mate: http://www.bolterandchainsword.com/index.p...howtopic=107725

They are supposed to be a legitimate chapter just cursed kind of like the Lamenters, well maybe a bit more extremely than the Lamenters to be fair but sort of the same thing.

To be honest I think they may lower the tone of the project somewhat though.

@ Kurgan the Lurker - thanks mate! ;)

LOL - yeah: I'll add 'em!

I need from you: a v5 painter version of the chapter, plain white background, armed with a bolter, and the chapter symbol applied to the shoulder ;)

@ Doghouse - cool!

We have now hit the 1,001 chapters mark in the gallery!

I'd like to say thanks to Dazzo at this point for all his hard work in starting this project, and pushing all the way to the end with a final flurry of chapters to push us over the 1,000 mark.

Dazzo and I have further plans for the gallery, and some re-organisation, so please to not stop submitting your chapters or hunting down new canon chapters!

That is great Philip!

Congratulations to both you and Dazzo! - You have done some stunning work!

Do you think you would be interested in recreating Kurgans old "Liber Astartes site" with it's Chapter listing?

Already talking with Philip and Dazzo about this CMG. We are waiting on some new software to come as part of the 3.x change over that will make it much easier to do some things. :)

I've updated the projects pages, and added a new Primary List. This new Primary List is a combination of the Canon and DIY categories (no MIA category chapters). All the chapters in the Primary List have links.

@ Brother Cambrius - no rush, whenever you are ready!

@ Viray - a lot of the hard work was done by Dazzo - he's relentless!

how do i add the capter badge to the marine painter picture?

i have downloaded paint.NET but i cant figure out how to do it ;)

Are you familiar with any image editing programs? Assuming you are, here's a quick orientation;

Open you downloaded Space Marine painter image (make sure it's a v5 image, and he's armed with a bolter!).

You should see your marine in the main window, under 'layers' is should say 'background', and be ticked.

Now find your symbol using Window's normal explorer - drag the symbol onto the marine. Paint.net will pop up a window with some options, pick the second one down called 'add layer'.

You will now have two layers. The marine will be 'background' and the symbol will be layer that has the title of the symbol file (followed by background - it's a quirk of paint.net).

Cut your symbol in half (remove the right side). To do this you can use the rectangle select (pick the right half and then delete key), or the eraser.

- if your image does not have a transparent background you'll have to erase around the symbol so the shoulder will show through later (it's best to do this while the symbol is large, and after you have cut it in half (saves time))

Move the half symbol over the shoulder, you may have to resize the symbol (use the move tool, and grab a corner).

Once you are happy with the size and the symbol is spot on in place, erase any overhang.

Got to the top toolbar: Image > Flatten.

Now it is one single layer, and you can use 'save as' to save the jpeg under a new name (so you keep the original).

If you are not familiar then there is the usual help, a few tutorials, and a forum ;)

I am interested in adding my Chapter to the cause if you are still adding Chapters.

The chapter symbol sucks because I hate photo shop I'll work on getting it on there better.

@ Ecritter - I look forward to adding them!

@ Firenze - Is that IA finished? Get your skates on! (PS: if that IA completely different? You could have started a new chapter, perhaps a successor?)

@ Gryphonclaw - Thanks, your chapter has been added (the 1,012th).
