I've updated the gallery with a few obscure canon chapters (and a couple of lost chapters). Now 1,026!

 

@ Codicier Lucion - please drop me a line when your IA is fully developed. There seems to be some teething troubles.

@ Cazen Phyreas - Do you have an IA? A v5 version with a bolter.

@ ChaoSilver - You're gonna need more than that mate ;) The IA is far too short (a couple of lines?). The picture is not V5 armed with a bolter.

@ Justiciar - Stone the Crows that's... um, already been pointed out :) Not a problem. I'll wait and see what happens.

 

As the project has 1,026 chapters I'm looking for fully developed IA to add to the list (and replace old MIA). I'll accept a chapter when it has a v5 colour scheme, armed with a bolter, chapter badge, and a half decent IA (an IA that follows the B+C guidelines and has be debated in the + LIBER ASTARTES + forum). All the details you need for a successful submission are in the first post guidelines of this thread. Following these guidelines makes my life a lot easier to keep the gallery updated as it saves me from making the v5 images, adding chapter badges, etc. myself. Which takes up a lot of time.

 

With the community's continued support I'm sure the 1,000 chapter project will continue to mature into a valuable resource for all fans.

@ exetus - very nice. I'll be happy to include it once I have a v5 painter version armed with a bolter (Go to Wargear option). If you do not like the look of the v5 for your IA, then post the image here.

 

@ Justiciar - I wouldn't worry about the name (it's got that 40K tongue in cheek sense of humour, but some run screaming from such things, and I thought I'd wait as see). I'll add it to the next update. It will not appear right away as I like to collect a few up before I update the gallery.

The lack of a visible chapter badge is part of the fluff, due to the frequent repainting of their armour and to not present recognisable iconography to Imperial forces while they were renegade.

The Shadow Wolves are mentioned in the novel Helsreach, and will almost definitely be mentioned in a few other novels within the next few years. Not sure if they qualify for this, though. They get wiped out just before the 13th Black Crusade.
