Well, they were only renegade for a hundred years or so. It does make sense to show them with the chapter symbol on their armour, as they would have had before and after their time running from imperials.

Glad to see this is going ever strong Philip. :) I promise you I'll have at least one mini IA coming soon to fill out my numerous chapters.

 

As a request to help improve the gallery, can it be possible for us to select which letter we want to jump to (such as "Chapter's beginning with M.") instead of having to click through the numbered pages four or five times to reach the specific area we're looking for?

About time I showed some of them a little love eh considering how many there are in your gallery? B)

spotted this while browsing the web for things to do with space marines etc and thought i would jump in with handing out yet another Chapter :D

The Green trim on the right shoulder indicates his company markings (as he is a codex chapter and follows the codex company markings - ie 3rd company would have a red trim and white for 1st company etc etc) if you want, i can make another painter with just Grey trims if that will prevent any confusion with what the 'base' chapter colours are? :)

 

they are a DIY Chapter and have yet to have any real information on them (asuming you wanted to know anything about them)

 

the chapter symbol is just a White Dark Angel symbol, so nothing amazing there lol

@ Shaabhekh - the chapter looks fine, and there is no need to make another version. The image is a 'standard' marine, it's the pages the gallery links to from the image that should have all the details. The Index Astartes information pages are integral to the project. There are a lot of MIAs in the gallery, part of the drive to get up to the 1,000 mark, but I wish to phase them out. The are not going to be deleted, simply excluded from the 'prime' list made up of DIY and canon only. Once the prime list is 1,000 strong: I'll shift the emphasis to that list, and make it the new home page. The old list, with all the MIAs in it, will still be accessible. As such I'm not adding any more MIAs. New submission have to include an IA, or a gallery, or a project blog/ forum, to be accepted. I want more info! So fans can explore literally thousands of chapters floating around 40K-dom and see which they like.

 

I can include your chapter once you provide an Index Astartes link, preferably linking to a post on this forum ;)

A quick addition, pretty much administrative stuff but something that I think would be helpful.

 

I think it would be helpful to have a search ability on the project now that it is so huge. Also the ability to change how many you can see per page would be nice. Some people who have a fast connection could load more at once.

@ Andrew J - the Desert Lions are canon :lol: I'll hang on to your chapter as add it in as an alternative, at a later date - when I get around to modding the gallery.

As to search and changing the number of chapters per page, I'll have to look into it. See if there are any addons.

Having undergone significant changes and work, I think the Sons are finally ready to join this project if you'll have them. Which is a fairly significant landmark on the road to completion. ;)
