Maccon Posted October 21, 2009 Share Posted October 21, 2009 Sign me up as well, I'm surprised it took me ten days to notice this thread. I'll be tackling Logan Grimnar, with a twist. I've always played his great company, but under the old rules I very rarely fielded him. Under the newer rules he's great...but not for smaller battles. So I will be modeling up what I like to call "Grimnar the Younger" its the Wolf Lord when he was just that...another lord, and not yet Great Wolf. As such he will not have all the same equipment you would expect. Think of it as The Adventures of Young Indiana Jones, Space Wolf style. Rizara Posted October 22, 2009 Share Posted October 22, 2009 well guys, after deciding that my own DIY wolf based chapter is a bust, i have opted to actually do an official great company for my wolves instead. Since i am building it from scratch i decided to go with the Fire Wolves and do a good and proper Kjarl Grimblood. So if its nots to late to sign up, sign me up for him. Now the only real question, is does anyone have any good links to there wargear for these guys or do we just pick and choose are self. Sadly, it's going nowhere for me atm seeing stuides take away most of my waken time, but I've been sketching and thinking about Sven for awhile now and I've come up with some pretty cool ideas, there will be fire, no doubt about that brothers, and tattos. The fluff is everything to me, you gotta see that this is indeed Sven Bloodhowl, as described in theCodex, otherwise I will have failed. (be sure t check on the fluff everyone, I had no idea Sven had a thunderhamer until I found that one out by reading the Wolf Lrd secton in the codex :P) How I will fit everything on one tiny terminator is another thin entirely :P And yeah, mod-guys would you stick this thread? I can't promise any painting will be done, as it's October and the outside temperature is below the optimum spraypainting temp of 60 degrees fahrenheit.
