In some pics it looks like they don't fit properly, and in others they look like they are smaller than the plastic ones <_< Is this the way they are or is it the angle of some of the pictures? So I decided to paint using the Flesh Tearers palette but then I thought that perhaps having shoulder pads, eagle, helmet, and backpack all black that it might be too much black and I thought that instead I should follow the Blood Angel squad coherency with the different helmet colors to categorize what type of marine. So I painted up an assault marine with all the colors of a flesh tearer but with a yellow helmet. I'm just wondering what you all think of this. I'm torn because I think it looks good but not when compared to the fluff of the chapter. Any insights, thoughts, etc would be appreciated. Thanks, By the way, when will we see an update? Not updated this in a long long time as I've been working on non power armoured things this year, but I'll answer some questions. @ Darius. I do have a list for gaming. I tend to write up a list of 2000pts before I buy any stuff. Once I get the land raider finished I should just top the 2k mark. @Grimm Blade. As already mentioned they are a tiny bit smaller. It would be better if they were updated and resized but I certainly think they are still worth getting and don't stand out on the table top. @Arcticcanadian. If it looks good to you then go for it. The chest piece of his Dante counts as is from the honor guard that come with the forgeworld red scorpions librarian "Sevrin Loth", as is the axe. The head is indeed from the FW Renegade Enforcer set. Finished this guy today. Finished him quite quick but still pretty happy with him. I paint my eyes with silver and then use a wash to colour them. Base of Ultramarine blue, wash with Badad black and Devlan mud. Re colour with Ulta blue and add space wolves grey to high light up.
