Artein
After the betrayal at Isstvan, Horus begins his campaign against the Emperor, a galaxy-wide war that can lead only to Terra. But the road to the final confrontation between father and son is a long one – seven years filled with secrecy and silence, plans and foundations being formed across distant stars. Legionator
"Age of Darkness" will not be a novel, it will be a collection like "Tales of Heresy". Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/200816-age-of-darkness/#findComment-2392426 Share on other sites
Hrvat
YES!!! Finally they brought some sense back into the Heresy. It has once more been prolonged into a 7 year war rather than the 2 year mockery the first two books made it. The Shadow Guard
Age of Darkness Edited by Christian Dunn, so must be an anthology of stories. But the road to the final confrontation between father and son is a long one – seven years filled with secrecy and silence, plans and foundations being formed across distant stars. Pcm979
I'm still hung up over it somehow managing to take seven years. All the previous fluff made it sound like a madcap race of "who gets to Terra first". Skirax
Im glad this is going to be released as we know next to nothing as what happened in those 7 years, cant wait ^_^ Chondax: Space Wolves discover a nascent Ork Empire, but the Alpha Legion lie in wait... Es'thea: The Thousand Sons, now outcasts, discover an Eldar relic that will prevent their Legion from the horrific mutations they are suffering from, but the Eldar are loathe to surrender it, and the Ultramarines rush to engage the Traitors before they can escape. Molech: The Word Bearers land a huge force here, and bring thousands of Daemon legions to the world to slaughter the Imperial Army. The veterans of Istvaan see a chance for revenge, and make haste to reinforce the beleagured forces... Sangraal: The Word Bearers and the Night Lords are on this planet, and it must be purged if Terra is to stand firm. The Imperial Fists prepare for Planetstrike... Yarant: A terrific staging point for the Siege of Terra, the Justearin are waging a war against the stoic Blood Angels here. ... or so I've heard. These might not be included in the book ;) Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/200816-age-of-darkness/#findComment-2409403 Share on other sites
Rain
Are you just making this up or do you actually have a source? If so, where did you come upon such knowledge? Don't make us send you to the Dark Angels for interrogation, unless you like being locked in a room with a frustrated dress wearing clergyman that is hiding a dark secret that no-one can know. ;) Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/200816-age-of-darkness/#findComment-2409657 Share on other sites

Raye
This book will be an anthology, as it says on the BL website it is edited by Christian Dunn. Should be pretty interesting to get a lot of short stories, which will help move the general plot along. The Shadow Guard
Heh...I feel like an idiot...... :D I can't eve remember posting the last thread and then realising Artein had beaten me to it....... must be the decaying grey matter! By the war searchy simply didn't pick anything up using the title as the search. Lord Lorne Walkier
Would be nice if we could settle the survivors of Istavaan III question. Maybe we will get more hints as to who the 8 astartes that accompanied Malcador to see the Emperor. On a side note..... The Emps. Fists had 7 years to work on the Palace ............. Fail!
