Artein
But with 'Legiones' before it, should be ok. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/216555-the-outcast-dead/page/5/#findComment-2744450 Share on other sites
Corsair
I really want the purple dude to be an Alpha Legionnaire, and in a stunning twist NOT be the guy who betrays everyone else. Sons of Horus
Honestly this doesn't look promising. I might just skip it (I've read the whole series so far). Pavement Artist
Honestly this doesn't look promising. I might just skip it (I've read the whole series so far). Look if you've read Battle for the abyss, you can slog through this man  Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/216555-the-outcast-dead/page/5/#findComment-2745821 Share on other sites
Midgard
As far as I am concerned, McNeill is yet to disappoint. He consistently delivers good stories, and while he may not be the most "literary" of BL authors, I have gotten consistent enjoyment from every BL novel by him I have read (which would be only his 40K material, as I have little interest in Warhammer Fantasy). So I will probably be buying it, as the snippet seems to be well written, and appears to be keeping up with his usual standards. Now, "The Face of Treachery" gets me a bit worried about "Deliverance Lost", but that's another story... Aegnor
He posted a first draft extract on his blog linky. I was dubious, but after reading the extract I'm certainly excited for this - was fantastic I thought. Pulse
Suprisingly good extract - will have to keep an eye out for this. :) Although.. ‘I do not need a lecture,’ said Dorn. ‘I know how astropathic communion works.’ ‘If that were truly the case, then you would have respected the warding seal upon this chamber,’ said Sarashina, and Ibn Khaldun felt the momentary flare of anger from behind the monolithic walls of Rogal Dorn’s mind fortress. Almost immediately it was followed by a mellow glow of begrudged respect, though Ibn Khaldun sensed this only because Dorn allowed it to be sensed. If i was Dorn and she said that i would have killed her on the spot. :) Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/216555-the-outcast-dead/page/5/#findComment-2747783 Share on other sites
