I need a little break from my Fire Angels, and a frien of mine has his birthday soon, so I will make a Deah Guard HQ for him as a present.

He is still very very wip. I want to do him in true scale. As you probably can tell, my sculpting skills are very limitied, but I will try to cover that up with damage and detail later on.

I will use a MK 6 helmet, but Im not sure if I will use a spike, the classic DG look, or a horn, more like a Plaguebearer.

So what you guys think ? How does he look so far, and what should I use on the helmet ?

Cheers and thanks for looking.

Really nice. Looking forward to seeing more!

Thanks mate !

I'm looking forward to seeing the Tactical Squad painted :D

For the sculpting, I think he's too thick around the waist.

Maybe you have a point there. Unfortunatly, I progressed without seeing your comment:

He looks great batu. The chest isn't too large in the end. I love the purple boils :D

Ludovic

EDIT: 4'000th post! :P

Thanks Ludovic, and congrats !

Okay he is finished. There are some things Im not happy with, but I have to deliver him tomorrow so I rushed the paint job a little. Next up will be Fire Angels again :)

I had my doubts previously, but they're all gone now. Stellar work  And I can't wait to see another Fire Angel update!

Ludovic

Glad I could convince you  I promise; all my hobby attention will now go to my Fire Angels :)

Big Boris looks amazing! Could you tell me where his bolter came from and what Mk it is please? I got a few in an ebay bundle a while back and was wondering if they were pre or post heresy era.

Thanks.

Dallo

Thanks man ! The bolter is a plastic one from an old GORKAMORKA sprue. Basically an old Orc gun. Im sorry I don't understand the other question. The helmet is a mk 6 one. The armour is greenstuff and plasticcard mostly. The kneepads are Chaos Marauders shoulder pads. The shoulder pads are terminator ones.I hope that helps, but feel free to re phrase you question.

Cheers

Fantastic work fella, I especially love that Razorback. It just pops. Also, I'm not normally a fan of DG because I find people tend to go overboard with them but your model was pretty spot on, you could tell he was still a Space Marine. I love the Jump Pack Chaplain.

Can't fault this thread.
