I can get Celestine running the Celestine Wrathful Crusade but Greyfax should have really been optional for that army build. I mean she's fine if you want to work on your Saint/Witch fanfiction but there are just too many people who look at a Psykers in a BT army with suspicion and distrust to take her in the formation outside of running a few scenarios from the story.

 

Honestly it would have been more interesting to get a Null Hereticus Inquisitor anyways.

Hopefully, Greyfax is smart enough to know that imposing her authority upon those who view her "gifts" with suspicion- a category which includes Puritanical Inquisitors as well- is a surefire way to "fall in battle" a suspiciously long way from the battlefield. (See Ciaphas Cain's comments regarding the stereotypical Commissar.) That should mean she would let SOMEONE ELSE take leadership of the Black Templars, so she won't take a bolt shell for stupidly trying to make a Black Templar go against his vows.

 

Out-of-universe, that means gamers shouldn't make Greyfax the Warlord in an army with too many Black Templars. Otherwise, someone will use the "It's for Your Own Good" special rule against her.

Anyone that isn't super casual will call you out though, Celestine's model is huge and unless you convert your Emperor's champion accordingly people are going to have problems. They'll say you're taking advantage of LOS, etc etc. 

 

Definitely an idea though. We'll have to see how Celestine's sprue looks. Maybe you can magnetize the body so you can switch between her body and an Emperor's Champion model body by putting a magnet on the wings. As for the gemini, maybe they attach to their jetpacks the same way a Space Marine does. That would make them easy to magnetize in that way.

I'm building truesize Templars out of templarified Stormcast, you know. With a Lord Celestant on Dracoth as my Marshal on Bike and another dude as Crusade's Reclusiarch.

 

And then there are these guys, who were too big for jump infantry at first and now, with BA wings on the wingmen and the proper Stormcast wings on the main dude - bam, we have a winner who is even lifted in the air on parchment like Celestine is. I don't see why this should not be tournament legal.

Celestine and Greyfax are required for the Wrathful Crusade formation yes, but so is a Marshal. Obviously the intent is to make the Marshal your warlord.

I don't have as much of an issue with greyfax as some, she has Hatred(Psykers) and that I like. I will keep a Sword Brother on witch-watching duty as a precaution though!
