As a caveat, given the fractious nature of the Inquisition and the imply subtext of the monodominant philosophy, it would mean that the Templars and Inquisition of the Monodominant group would quickly find themselves infighting when a Marshal's idea differs from the Inquisitor's.

well in that case... the inquisitor must be the one in the need of purging!!! after all, our way have lasted 10.000 years, theirs change all the time... and our way has always been right!

you know your a BLACK TEMPLAR when you...

-want you grey knights to be BLACK knights!

-can't stop writing BLACK and TEMPLARS with caps, even though you have forgótten all the other capital letters in this text... (did it for that reason :) )

Perhaps...but I doubt that such infighting would be excessively common. The Inquisitor would probably realize that the Templars are the Chapter that he would disagree with the least (as pretty much every other chapter has Librarians), and therefore one of the only Chapters that he would not find distasteful to call upon when he needed the Adeptus Astartes. The Marshal would probably realize that this is an Inquisitor that shares the majority of our views, and is one that may even advocate for us when less zealous Inquistors start asking questions they shouldn't. Neither Inquisitors nor Marshals are idiots, and their position necessitates that they have a vast amount of experience.

And if two groups with pretty similar views "would quickly find themselves infighting" when their opinions on a situation differ, then I am surprised that the forces of the Imperium are able to work together at all. Most Chapters have their own belief system, which differs from that of other Chapters (especially those of a different gene-line), which differs from that of the Ecclesiarchy, which differs from that of the Adeptus Mechanicus....and those differences are far greater than the differences between the typical Monodominant Inquisitor and the Black Templars.

Oh yeah because if an Inquisitor said 'We're going to purge some xenos fuelled by chaos, oh and I want you to arrest a Son of Guilleman (The guy who questioned your Primarch and forced him to split his legion) for being a Psyker'. We would totally say no right?

I saw it as us being above the Inquisitor, and more importantly, a higher authority than the Ultramarines. And I highly suspect that if we had more than 100 Templars at that point the Blood Ravens chapter would be gone too >_> Filthy psychic heretic khorne worshiping herectical heretics that they are.

But the Inquisition does need purging, half of them are radicals, many are psykers and their infighting and constant stream of rogue Inquisitors harms the Imperium. We should Tag team with the Grey Knights to purge all those who do not meet our and their exacting standards.

Draigo and Lysander, back to back cutting the chaff and corruption from the Inquisition!

Also, IIRC the Ultramarine in Space Marine was also suspected of being tainted by the Warp. A very good reason to help an Inquisitor deal with a member of a lesser Chapter.

...tag-team...with witches? :D

If we are to tag-team with one of the Chambers Militant of the Inquisition, we should do what we did in the Vinculus Crusade and work with the Adeptus Sororitas.

Actually, when the new plastic Sisters come out, I was thinking of using them as Neophytes in a few squads.

Agreed.

Honda? Is it okay if I steal your idea?

You know you're Black Templar...

~ If you play Necrons and Bugs and generally enjoy it.

~ If you saw the futility in being an xeno and repented thine self in the lake of blood by the Chaplin of our brothers. Took up the sword to fight along side your brethren and forgo your dark past.

~ If you picked up the Black Templar codex and realized, you never wanted to be a Ranged Army. You just wanted to be awesome while being shot at.

~ You giggled with glee at the codex.

~ Scared your friends with said giggle.

~ Created an account on this forum just to announce your rise into the Black Templar on this forum.

Just make sure the order paint scheme you use is 'Valorous Heart' basically...black and white...with white Templar symbols =D I have such a force myself.

And to those that objected to our siding with the Grey Knights, we can always purge them afterwards, just leaving perhaps the Purifiers alive, as Neophytes....

>When you are helping someone get fit so they can join the military, so have a real life Neophyte!

>When you ask for the Malleus Maleficorum for your birthday, even though that's not for a few months.

>When you suck at FPS' because you spend too much time trying to figure out where to attatch the gun on your weapon.
