Grizzly_bear Posted June 6, 2011 Author Share Posted June 6, 2011 The "Blue recipe" Undercoat black Heavy over brush with Necron Abyss A medium wash of Badab Black 1:1 mix of Necron Abyss and Regal Blue Then wash with Asuriman blue Then a 1:1:1 mix of Necron abyss, regal Blue and Shadow grey then a blended, watered down mix of regal blue and shadow grey... Marshal van Trapp Posted June 9, 2011 Share Posted June 9, 2011 Thanks for the reply....i've had mixed signals about the green from "outside" comments i.e. Gf and freinds, i was humming and arring about it my self but then i considered trying and i liked it, i know it's not truely "Crimson fisty" but im building a Pre Tragedy CF 4th company and looking at the novel for insperation.....in time i'll have a mixed CF force for the post "we just got reduced to below 2 companies" time line. more pictures of the rest of the squad will be added through out the following week so keep your tabs on. would you be speaking of the novel Rynn's World by steve parker? i just finished reading that! how do you plan to tackle captain Alessio Cortez? Hmm Alessio Cortez is a hard one....see I'm not sure weather to use the 2008 Gamesday captain head as I have that head, the same head as the assault sgt in this thread, or just a Mrk 6/4 helmet....with regards to his fist that's also a tricky one because 'Cortez's' fists is in the command sprue but it's a left fist not right and I wanna keep to him having a right power fist, in regards to his armour he'll very plain so no robes etc but obv a lil something to make him stand out...hmmmm just don't know lol What you think? Ideas? How about a power fist from the BA Sanguinary Guard? with a bit of GS work and a sharp blade you could get a nice effect, plus I think the Power Fists look cooler.
