Thank you for the props again there Wicced, the hammer had an bad accident as when I was gluing the arms on once the whole model was done he decided to jump out my hands and the hammer head came off so had to improvise and pin it back on, but did not see the bend in the haft...thanks for that. Grizzly_bear
Thanks very much mate, I wanted to capture him from jadeberry hill in the Rynns world novel where he sees three of his brothers who survived the Missle incident get chopped up by the warlord amding the orks who are attacking Sgt grimms postintion he was told to defend, and Cortez just charges into the orks headless of the Orks and Kantor calling him as he is set on killing the warlord. This is why I love the hobby and the novels.

Brother Pheidias
Cortez is great, but the real stand-out to me is brother Memo. He looks amazingly 'ard ;) There's really nothing I can put my finger on with these guys!
Doghouse
Fantastic stuff mate, they are really looking brilliant now. I some how missed the Cortez update but he looks amazing mate, extremely dynamic and really looks the part. Great choice of head as well. ;) The honour guard are looking really nice as well, very individual looking which is how a vet should look. Keep at it mate. :)

Wicced
fantastic paintjobs and conversions as usual brother :D one thing about the latest models though, i realized some of them are sporting nasty moldlines. the backpack vents of brother Memo and arms and legs on the heavy weapon guys for example. moldlines aside, great work brother! d Karma b
The Crimson Fists were my favorite chapter at the start of my involvement in the 40K universe. You've done my visions of them justice, this is amazing work.
Grizzly_bear
@wicced: thank you for your comments and concerning the mould lines, i know they're on show a bit, i do have files but they seem to eat away through the line it self and the plastic atm, i do need to invest into a dremmel, but when i've now lost my job so out goings have to be on the things i have to use money for, i.e. bills, food etc, i do have more marines still to paint so i'll still be busy. @d karma b: Thank you also sir on your comments, the Crimson fists story has always got my attention and i've always loved their colours too so i'm really loving this project. Brother Pheidias
Hey Dorns_Fist, concerning the mouldlines, on plastics, the easiest way is to grab a hobby-knife, and then drag it along the mouldline, with the edge pointed away from the direction of movement, at an angle of about 45 degrees. It's better than files and dremels and what have you...

Grizzly_bear
Hey everyone, only got one model to update you with but he is another Honour gaurd ;) I present to you: Brother Severo 'Kine slayer' http://i1200.photobucket.com/albums/bb323/Rob_grizz4/Crimson%20Fists%204th%20comapny/BrotherSevero1.jpg http://i1200.photobucket.com/albums/bb323/Rob_grizz4/Crimson%20Fists%204th%20comapny/BrotherSevero2.jpg http://i1200.photobucket.com/albums/bb323/Rob_grizz4/Crimson%20Fists%204th%20comapny/BrotherSevero3.jpg http://i1200.photobucket.com/albums/bb323/Rob_grizz4/Crimson%20Fists%204th%20comapny/BrotherSevero4.jpg ....I'm not happy with the "electro power" on the power sword so i may revist the sword after i've got my dev and assault sqauds up to 10 men each. what you guys think on him?
Wicced
i like the pose and the parts you used for him. he looks like a grizzled veteran :) only criticism would be the power sword effect, but you already mentioned that. nice work as usual, can't wait for more! Brother dean
So point me towards this other fellow we were playing with on Saturday... Or at least his plog. Was it you or him that was discussing White Scars with Doghouse.
Redfinger
I really like what you have going on here, particularly the scout combat blades, I think the black finish with the steel edge has a very military feel to it. Also Pedro is quite nice as well, my only critique on him would be the area between the wings on the PF seems a little empty. I have actually been looking into running a Pedro list based around sternguard, the idea seam interesting, though I run Imperial Fists, so Pedro would be up for a wardrobe change, though I may keep his left shoulder in CF colors..... Are you going to be doing some vehicles? I would be interested to see if you can carry the same quality and consistency over to vehicles. Son of Carnelian
Brother Severo isn't your best, but when you have that Cortez, I forgive all missteps! Keep up the good work. If I were to make a suggestion, I would recommend more lightning on the sword. But seriously, these rock!
Grizzly_bear
@wiceed: thank you very much mate @brother dean: i was talking to Dog house about white scars because of a random guy who was painting his scars in a GW in london, and he had a the "best way" to paint scars. @redfinger (ashton): thank you also mate, i will be doing vehicles yes, i have two rhino chasis tanks that are nearly-ish done so hopefully they'll be up and running before xmas as i have 10 more guys to paint to make my assault and dev squads full 10 men. @marshal sampson of terra: Thank you for your criticism and compliments. may i ask what doesn't work for you with brother Servero? once again thanks alot to everyone following and comenting on my thread.
