Angry Marines possible successor Chapter of Black Templars?

Definately a throwback to the imperial fists with their yellow armor! However I think somewhere in their homegrown codex, it states that they're smurf-successors only breaking away from the ultramarines because they were, well, angry at being reigned in by the Codex Astartes. I would agree it's very templar sentiment, but they play a bit more shooty, their dread gets 4 plasma cannons... a fun codex to read through, quite comedic, yet profane and A LOT OF ALL CAPS QUOTATIONS.

Slowly, currently on 3 weeks of late shifts at work. So that really screws up my life in general.

 

The next model post will have all the guys down for the SB so might be a while, please no changes to the current SB weapon line up as making some parts from scratch and kitbashing.

Its cool, not to much to do just shifts will slow the project. I would say anything but an EC or chaplin. Where in a BT army do you see yourself, what unit, fighting style, weapons, are you on a landspeeder, a bike etc etc. Your choice ..apart from the EC or chaplin thing I'm maxd out on those. Fighting Style: In the thick of things, fighting with my bare hands if I have to. Doing whatever it takes to slay the Emperor's enemies.

 

Two ideas for weapons:

 

1. Power Sword in the right hand, Chainsword from a fallen brother in the left hand.

2. Right arm swinging the severed left arm like a flail.

 

A Deathwatch shoulder pad if available. Otherwise just standard heraldic crosses on the pads. One of the more knightly looking helmets. Extra purity and crusader seals. And plenty of battle damage.

 

Tried to get as detailed as possible for you. Let me know if its too much or you want more.

Enemies attacking from behind the mashal do at -2 to thier initiative, as they are blinded by the mirror, -3 if attacking from the front due to his handsomeness. -_-

@Brother Uriel Sanguis, for the time being yes. Sorry.

 

@Dannis, the legs and feet are those of the standard tactical marine stright off the sprue. Just converted into shape from the plastic legs.

 

Managed to get a hold of 3 commander cloaks and a pile of BT gubbins, so should be to long before another 3 are up. Tell you what, trying to find scout bits(legs mostly) is impossible.

 

DoH!, just relised posted the same link twice for the Ace's SB. Will fix later. pizza and film now. yum.

I looked these guys up once, from what I can remember:

They come from one of the lost Primarchs. Their Chapter master once fought an unwitnessed duel with Calgar, he came out of the room looking distinctly beaten up with his gaunlets of ultramar missing, and although no one knows what transpired exactly, everytime the Angry Marines and the Ultramarines meet, the Ultramarine vessels are bombarded with a constant vox stream of Angry Marines chanting 'Stop hitting yourself! Stop Hitting Yourself! Stop hitting yourself!'.

 

And incidently are the only chapter to install dozer blades on their Drop pods, citing the reason 'WHY THE **** NOT!?' and invented 'Power Feet'.

 

'ALWAYS ANGRY! ALL THE TIME!'

 

Among other highly amusing things.

Good to see you're back in action, brother! I saw that I was awaiting assignment on the intial post...

 

If it's still on the table, I'd like to be an assault marine with a power fist and plasma pistol with the maximus pattern helmet and knobbed pauldrons. How you deck me out, when you get there, is totally up to you. Judging by your other works in progress, anything you do should look pretty damn cool.

 

If the offer is not on the table, good luck the rest of the way! :P
