@ merc3065: GW Colors. No aribrush on infantry used.

The intro posting has been finished giving more information about the plans for this project (post 1, starting with: "plans for the future")

The backgorund section has been updated with the short story/ intro story "Thunderhawk down".

In post 4 you will now find scnearios to bring the campaign to the tabletop. The first scenario for Thunderhawk down is now available there.

New pics of the finished assault squad wil come today :-)

Now it´s time to get back to the paint station and recommence work on my forgeworld venerable chaplain dreadnought...

For Sigismund!

  • 3 weeks later...

Seriously... some of the nicest Templar paintjobs I have seen so far. Love the realistic grime and effects you have achieved.

Please do a paint tutorial one day!

Thanks for your encouraging comments. I´ve just received the first WIP - pictures from a professional modeller who´s doing my Terminator tabards. Some others will join this Swordbrother soon, of course. I really love the result and can´t wait to see the ones with Stormshields and Hammers/ Greatswords...

Hi Brothers,

@ Hogun: I promise to make a tutorial in august this year. I´ve been promising that to some brothers for quite a while but haven´t found time/ patience to do it yet. By fixing a date, I´m sure I can "force" myself to do it, as I hate breaking oaths...

Two more photos of my ongoing Terminator conversion commission done by Gregor Adrian (http://runecast-sculpts.blogspot.com/) have arrived and I want to share them with you.

As I have only sent one pair of arms to the sculptor he used those for the pictures. Of course these to swordbrethren will get other arm options, but which exactly shall remain a surprise until I can hold them in my hands. I´m pretty sure that I´m going to swap the helmets against som other more templarish looking one, but that remains to be seen, once the Termies are on their bases and ready for a holy black undercoat. These conversions match my whishes for them about 110%. The tabards are quite smooth on the chests, so that I can paint some Templar crosses there without too severe difficulties.

Here they come...

@ Marshal Sampson of Terra, lightning claws gain the full benefit of furious charge, where as thunder hammers do not. Personally I like to run a mix, and gain the most from both.

@ madmatt, your Templars are fantastic. I can't say enough about them, so I wont even try.

It´s quite possible that all terminators will be equiped with Grey Knight Terminator heads, which I´d already used on my first biker.

The next Terminator´s body has been finished. He´ll carry a hammer and a Forgeworld shield, aiming at an imaginary enemy. Here he is... Two more to go...

Thanks for your kind words. I´m not quite sure what you mean with the last sentence.

Of course this project is far from being finished, but I´ve already some ideas for other projects that I will start in winter when his one is close to being finished.... I´ll commence painting when my holidays start in two weeks. I´ll have lots of spare time for a six-week-period then.... ^_^ :P
