Death Guard warband showcase.

Every once in a while, a thread like this comes along that reminds me that yes, there are people out there who simply get it, who know what this setting is about and who show everyone how awesome 40k is with every single miniature.

Thank you for this inspiring thread and keep em coming ^^

Thanks a lot for all the kind words, I really appreciate them. I just finished the last rhino tonight, and will give them their first outing at 2000 points tomorrow night, against the feeble and deluded Grey Knights of Validar (user here). :P

No, thank YOU for that incredibly inspiring comment. :(

Thanks a lot - I've taken a bit of a hiatus, different kind of stuff, new job, etc., but I'm starting to begin modelling again. :)

I'm working on a greater daemon, based on the terrorgheist, but I'm a bit stuck on the head - I'll get some pics up, when I get a bit further.

Right now, I'm having fun painting a heavily converted Dark Apostle I made just for the heck of it. Pics soon. :D

Hov hov, et kendt ansigt XD

Nice to see you're venturing outside of the confines of PF  This army is exquisite and I've lurked in this thread several times without realising it was yours XD

One shouldn't be so lucky that you were ttending RFF's turney this year so I have a chance of seeing these beauties in the flesh? ;)

Keep it up mate, and get that dark apostle up in a hurry as from the pics on pf it looks pretty damn awesome ;)

Thanks for all the kind comments. :pinch:

Well, it looks like the Death Guard are being bolstered by new guys - I have to projects in the works, a greater daemon, and a wacky concept - death guard wasps (raptors)

Both concepts are still very rough, but you can see where I'm going.

Greater Daemon (I know it doesn't have wings, but they were too cool to not use) - I wanted to get away from the bloated great unclean one, since it doesn't really match anything in my army, conceptwise.

Lots of greenstuffing to be done.

A wasp prototype:

The underbody is an ancient tyranid warrior body, and all the legs will be similar to the backmost hind legs - I intend to make a mold and cast the body and legs in resin.

As usual, any and all comments are appreciated. :(

Yes.

That Greater Deamon. Me likey. What's he made of? I see some River Troll in there?

Thanks a lot guys. :ermm:

Goose: Actually, nope. It's largely based on the terrorgheist, cut up quite a bit, with hell pit abomination arms, and the lower jaw from a manticore used as an upper jaw.

You made Nurgle awesome. I didn't believe that was possible. No, I'm serious, all of these are amonst the most amazing models I've ever had the honour of seeing, and in an all Nurgle force. Your talent is incredible :ermm:

What?!?! Where have you been all these years? Nurgle already was awesome - just ask anyone who has spent time converting all kinds of gribbly, tentacular, pustular ickiness for their armies... ;)

Great conversions, I love the insect-based concept for Raptors! :) :)

Ahh soo. Wow man, that's nuts, I wish you all the best with the project, it's all very mindblowingly cool.
