Here's my sign-up. Hopefully this meets requirements...

Name: Maximius Aurius

Age: 323

Rank: Brother-Captain, Third Company; Master of the Fleet

Chapter: Iron Brotherhood

Name/rank of chosen:

-Brother-Sergeant Antonius

-Brother-Apothecary Octavian

-Brother-Chaplain Lorentian

-Brother-Champion Seratius

-Battle-Brother Helicles

(5)

Combat style:

Is a master of both ranged and close combat, but he prefers to fight in close quarters. Holds a heavy preference towards his lightning claw (mark of rank). He also wields a power sword (Eternity), which he has had since his induction into the Chapter as a full-fledged battle-brother

Strengths:

Close combat, where he is able to dually wield both his sword and claw. As well, he is at an advantage when he wears his artificer Terminator armour, which bears his personal heraldry of a lion clutching a sword.

His greatest strength, however, is his ability in space combat; not only is he a master tactician, and can outmaneuver even the eldar, he takes great joy in leading boarding actions against enemy ships. He counts some of is greatest achievements as space battles where the fate of a world has been saved without the citizens even knowing what had happened.

Weaknesses;

He will pay any cost to save a human life. As well, it has been noted that the death of any of his companions (his personal retinue) will send him into a berserker rage that give him strength and heightens his combat ability. However, in this, he becomes prone to Khorne’s whispers, and many times has come close to falling, before throwing up a mental wall. Also, seeing anyone from the hated Iron Warriors legion will send him into a fit similar to that caused by the loss of a battle-brother.

Appearance:

When wearing Terminator armour, Aurius is a menacing figure; the armour has gunmetal shoulder pauldrons that signify him as an Iron Brother, witht eh Crux Terminatus on one shoulder, and his personal heraldry of a lion clutching a sword on his left shoulder. His chest bears the insignia of the Iron Brotherhood (a shield crossed with a sword and bolter), and he wears a fear-inspiring helmet forged into the shape of a lion’s head. When in power armour, he still bears a crux terminatus on his left pauldron, but the front of his right pauldron bears the Chapter shield, instead of his chest, where there is now an Aquila.

In both cases, he always wields his lightning claw on his right arm, and his power sword is firmly holstered on his left hip. He wields a storm bolter, but also carries a plasma pistol in a holster on his right hip. He can commonly be seen with a belt of frag grenades slung across his chest when in power armour

He has bright blue eyes, short cropped blonde hair, and a long scar that runs down his face from above his right eye to the bottom of his jaw

Brief history:

Aurius was born as Markus Haelstrom, from an unknown world in the Ultima Segmentum. At the age of 12, a small renegade Imperial Army regiment attacked his world, and he defied his father’s orders to stay home while the war was waged. When the Iron Brotherhood arrived to cleanse the world, on one battlefield, they found a dirty, heavily-muscled 13 year old cutting his way through a platoon of renegade guardsmen with a jury-rigged power claw and an iron sword. He was instantly taken from the field of battle following the cleansing, and quickly passed all the rites necessary to become a Scout in the Iron Brotherhood’s 11th Company. He rose to battle-brother 20 years later, following a battle in which he alone hled his squad in holding a bastion for a day and night against an ork horde after his sergeant was killed. This made him the youngest battle-brother in the history of the Iron Brotherhood, and made him a legend in the Chapter.

Habits:

He always dons his lightning claw last when he puts on his armour

Left hand always jerks towards power sword when he gets angry

Scar on his right cheek twitches when he is about to yell.

**EDIT**

I know you have 8 writers already, but I think I can help clear up the dry-spells...I'm normally able to pump out a chapter any time I get enough time to sit down and write.

As well, if you notice in the bio...Aurius has the potential to go bad :P

**END EDIT**

I'm in agreement with King Willy.

If someone needs to miss a week or so, then that's fine as long as they say something.

I know IronDragon did say he would be busy for awhile, but if it's been three weeks and he hasn't logged back in - if only just to tell us it's still going to be a while, then we should consider him MIA. If he comes back and says that he has free time now to write out some posts, then I'm fine with him coming back, but we can't keep waiting in the dark.

As for Bong ... well ... when was the last time he logged in?

Dominicus, I don't think there'll be a problem with you joining so if you want to start brainstorming or maybe come up with the start of something, then we'll get Jake's green light and you're good to go.

As for Bong ... well ... when was the last time he logged in?

Late last month. So, about three weeks too. :tu:

This bodes ill for us ...

Perhaps Ahriman was getting some revenge?

Anyway, that's two writers MIA for three weeks. Shall we consider them lost to the warp for purposes of the COWWOF? At least that way if they do return, they have a fluff-legitimate reason to reappear.

Regarding Dominicus' entry; I think he should take the place of Bongfu, and Onyx that of IronDragon66, considering what Dom has already written.

Which would make the posting order thus:

Active

Jake Mulraney - Monday

GrimApostle - Tuesday

King Willy - Wednesday

Chapter Master Onyxius - Thursday

Olisredan - Friday

Nineswords - Satuday

Dominicus - Sunday

Inactive

Irondragon66

Bongfu

Which would mean Dom could get his up this weekend and Onyx can get an entry up next thursday (this Thursday may be a little short notice, I think). Sound good?

Sorry about the lack of an update yesterday. I got home all ready to write, went for a 30 minute nap and then woke up 7 hours later.

I'll try to get something up today but if it's sub-par then it might be Saturday before I post something.

If need be, I'll reserve a post.

New posting order:

Active

Jake Mulraney - Monday

GrimApostle - Tuesday

King Willy - Wednesday

Chapter Master Onyxius - Thursday

Olisredan - Friday

Dominicus - Saturday

Nineswords - Sunday

Inactive

Irondragon66

Bongfu

Sure, I'm all good with going on Saturday

So, in regards to what I've written...would I have to wait till Saturday to put that up? Or can it go up now, as it's based around the latest developments of the story thusfar

I haven't heard from Jake as soon as I'd like (but maybe I'm just an impatient git :P), so I'm going to say go for it. I think we'll be fine if you post up what you have for now and then stick to the schedule. :)
