What colours do you use for your red glow? Thinking of adding a similar glow to my Ultramarines lenses at some point in the future, at the moment they are just basic red with some gloss varnish.

Hey all!

 

Yesterday i got some new toy's!

 

1 Emperors Children Contemptor with Kheares assault cannon

10 Mark 4 to build a 5 man stern guard and a 4 man royal guard for Fulgrim.

1 Librarian Lloth with honor guard to make the royal guard for Fulgrim.

5 Heavy support Mark 4 with plasma cannons.

And indeed the 2nd picture is what i got to see when i opened the librarian lloth and honor guard.

So now i need to wait for replacements....

Never had such a bad cast as this one... Oh well sh*t happens :)

It's such nice painting... like really nice painting. I guess my only critique would be that I wish you drilled out the barrels on the razorback.

BKzero: i know client wanted to build his own models and none of the other barrels of that army are drilled so thats why :)

Palak: WIP below! :)

 

I am thinking of making a new legion to go with my EC since the EC are already around 2500 points and i just want to add Fulgrim and leave it with that and start to paint something new... So what legion?

 

I was thinking or Sons of horus or Ironhands since those to are the 2 legions mostly related to the emperors children.

 

Anny idea's?

 

Then on to some WIP pictures of my new toys!

 

I have managed to repair the torso's that were so bad with green stuff.

Also FW is going to replace the torso's for me so i can add even more guys to this unit or save them up for later projects.

Really good. The NMM gold on the eagle on the backpack is great. I am a big fan of extreme edge highlighting, something I am not brave enough to attempt. Looks great.

 

About the barrels being drilled out, thanks for the explaination. I didn't pay attention that it was a comission piece. I am new to the site, and was looking though your whole thread and was like, "nice painting, great painting, ooo nice blending, nice highlighting, hmmm barrels drilled nice work, epic, nice, wait, what happened to these models?"

Hi all,

 

Thanks BKZer0! 

I ripped it off an old model from my cabinet since i didnt have any more eagle heads :(

So it is going to be repainted.

 

Ive started to work on my typhon siege tank and since i did not want to paint him in EC colors and i want to make a new legion of marines i thought lets make him a world eater!!

I only need 6 more marines for my EC army and it is fully finished!

Soon ill post pictures of the whole army in its full glory with the display board i made for them!

Just a little more patience :P

But enough chatting!
