Night Lords 2000 Pts WIP

Hi, thanks for following along!

 

I love the bat heads. I personally don't like the idea of having them on every model. I think that using them as constant as that, they would lose the flair value that I attribute to them. I wouldn't be opposed to using all bat heads for an entire squad though, but the army no.

I like making the models as individual as possible. I feel like that is a theme in the Night Lords. Individuals or small groups having common themes, but differing greatly from one claw to the next. 

 

Though I do think that if someone made like a company display with a crap ton of Night Lords with bat wings, in like a ceremony it would be off the chain.

 

 

 

And as a general update, I have finished all Raptors, Close Combat CSMs, and Bolter CSMs, and Havoc squads. Now to assemble my 6 bikers, order my remaining 4 and a siege line. Painting is going to be on the back burner until everything is assembled.

 

Updates should be a little more frequent now that I've fixed my motorcycle and work has calmed down a good bit.

Taking these picture also causes me to find small things in the model that I should change. It's kinda handy.

That's most of the bikers. Still got a little bit of finishing to do before I paint them. Also, if you didn't know, the Dark Angels Black Knights kit only comes with plasma weapons, no bolters to mount on the bike. Overall though, it thought it was a cool bunch of bits.

I've been working on the lightning and I really think that it completes a lot of models. I don't think I'll be doing it on all of my models but it is very cool. And I keep getting better at it.

Also I tried my hand at some free handing. A half skull and wing, and on the far right, that is supposed to be Nosotromo Exploding. I need to put some more detail on that though.

Cool so far. Nice to see a fellow devotee of the Khorne berserkers, for N.L. CSM's.

You just need to get busy with the brush now... But maybe not when under the influance Mind you as a fan of Night Lords and beer I can see the attraction of combining them

I think every Night Lord needs his lightning. Though it is a bit disheartening when you look at your latest and think any self respecting P.A. type would be calling it job done now, but me I STILL have that damn lightning to do. So I feel your pain but press on dude press on. Lightning makes Night Lords cooler by about 98% when compared to any other force.
