Been a long time since I was last in The Barracks... so...

 

Going back to my IG for a little while and starting off with 2 Leman-Russes.

 

Base colours done along with some panel lining. Just all the detail to do now

 

 

 

Sponsons are magnetised and main gun options are swappable.

 

 

Might be some Rough Riders when these are done

Only a couple of evenings chained in the painting corner this week so only managed to get a bit of work on the Leman Russ turrets done and I will be revisiting the spotlights as I am not happy with how they turned out... They need to fade more at the bottom... Ah well...

 

Good news though... It has been a year already

 

Guess I know what is next to do from the pile of shame

Hulls 511 and 910 are now complete.

Great stuff Elmo! My opinion is you should go with Rough Riders next! (Can’t beat a cavalry charge!!) plus they look cool!

Sorry Jud... I have decided that my next project will be something I have had in the pile of shame for a few years... Converting 6 WHF Ogres into Bullgryns... Wish me luck.

No photos this weekend but I have been hacking away at the Ogres to get the torso armour of the Bullgryns to fit.

Some serious work has been going on in the painting corner with the souls of the Ogres crying out in pain

with the genetic enhancements they are getting at the hands of  Dr. Emel.

 

After an evening of playing around I have now got it to fit and have started filling gaps with Milliput superfine white.

The plan is to fine tune them next week and then prime at the weekend.

 

There will be 6 total and the plan is 3 with Grenadier Gauntlets and Slab Shields

and 3 with Battle Mauls and Suppression Shields

Bullgryns are in my top 5 favorite models, can't wait to see your take on them with this kit bash.

It is going well - the bodies are done and just the weapon arms and heads to do..

Need to do the heads, Grenadier Gauntlets, Battle Mauls and Suppression Shields along with bases and weathering.
