Well that was a long break.... holidays - illness and lack of motivation all combined into a go-slow on the IG but I am happy to report progress

Keeping with the Guard... I have 30 salvaged Cadians on the painting table. Some will be used for squads and some will be used as the 2nd man for heavy weapons teams.

 

The plan is to work on my Guard for at least the first half of 2023 and try to crack the pile of shame so expect regular updates...

Thought I had finished this Kataphron Breacher but I might do a bit more work on one of the weapons .

Not really IG I know but it is a part of the 711th along with the Techpriests and Servitors

 

The left arm is magnetised and the right arm is pushfit.

The 3 infantry squads are now primed - next week will be mainly doing chocochip

Progress is progressing progressively :)

Torso and legs

15 at 95% done

15 at 50% done

Arms in the spray booth this weekend.

Some are at different builds due to being eBay rescues and not worth breaking down.

Getting close to completion of the 3 new squads (plus a bonus old metal Melta trooper). I had to recess the necks to get the boonie hat heads to fit.

You can just about see that 6 of them have shotguns which are also from Anvil Industry.

 

The first 2 photos are group shots, the 3rd is completed (less unit numbers) models and the fourth still have bits to paint and fit.

I was a little haphazard in planning these

The squads are now done and I will upload the photos tomorrow or Saturday but in the meantime...

 

Heavy Weapons Teams are next up in the painting corner.

Just finished Eisenhorn as an Inquisitor for the 711th - thought I was anyway then saw a couple of bits that need touch-ups on the photos...

 

Here he is at the current state

8 HBs complete.
There are another 4 HBs, 4 Lascannons and Autocannons in progress but need to make new bases
