Can a Legion Praetor exchange both is pistol and CCW?

I have a doubt about a rule from the Legion Astartes army list.

 

Can a Legion Praetor exchange his pistol and his chainsword/combat blade?

 

The Praetor's options say he can "exchange either is bolt pistol or chainsword/combat blade with one of the following... etc"

 

Does it mean it can choose to exchange one of them or does it mean the chosen weapon replace one of starting weapons?

 

I know there was a simialr issue about the Moritat ability to take two plasma pistols, if I'm not mistaken.

Incorrect. 'Or' is true if either or both conditions is true. It is legal to have a Praetor armed with a Volkite Charger, Plasma Pistol, and Charnal Sabre. What you can not do is exchange just one of the basic items for multiple of the others.

Honestly that was my first thought on "either" in such context but I wanted to be sure

So I can have a praetor with Paragon blade+ other specialist weapon.

I'm about to build a Praetor with jump pack and I wanted to be sure before modelling weapons he cannot use.

Although the rules say 'or' as previously stated by Dswanik you can exchange both, also remember you are using HH:betrayer which is meant to be for friendly games, I'm sure no one will have an issue with the model being armed with two weapons, if someone does however you have full permission (game wise and gamer wise) to wip out a super heavy and pie plate his ass!

The or wasn't the issue for me it was the either. I don't see why the either is required.

 

You may have some milk or some cookies, if you wish. It doesn't exclude you having both. You can either have some cake or some pie. It is cake or pie. English isn't my first language so, I can admit to being wrong. If someone could explain this to me or link me to a site that does it would be appreciated.
