I think it's a generic command squad upgrade like the current captain and standard bearer, just painted as raven guard

That's what I meant. I just worded it poorly.

I'm not even sure we'll get any Legion-specific command squad besides the Sons of Horus.

Im interested to see the mark 3 command squad in color. The guy with the gladius looks like the has the old rogue trader captain symbol painted on his forehead, and Im really confused why they have black shoulder pads. I haven't seen a lot of IF models conforming to standard coloration conventions. Is the Crusade era Imperial Fists scheme with black shoulder pads now?

Emperor damn you, Forge World!

Those Command Squads make it very, very hard to resist starting a Crusade/Heresy force. The Mk II standard bearer is near perfect in my opinion, and the Mk III guys aren't far behind.

Part of the ship, part of the crew. Part of the ship, part of the crew. Part of the ship, part of the crew. Part of the ship, part of the crew. Part of the ship, part of the crew. I have to echo the concern that Sons of Horus are the only ones with a Command Squad / Upgrade Kit. I certainly hope the other Legions get similar treatment. I understand that SoH are the big-bad of the Heresy, but each Legion has it's own personality and the players should be able to represent that in their respective forces.

Dude, don't make me bust out Hypnotoad again....

Looks like a wreath on his forehead, similar markings on his wrist and knee as well. The shoulderpads caught me off guard, too. Now I'm a touch freaked out about painting my Fists right now..

That Mk II command set, though, has got me drooling. Take a super close look at the faceplate of the command, it looks like the breacher helm, but layered. Brutal.

Yes, that command squad is tremendous, some of my favourite models ever. The one drawing his sword will be a great champion for my Grand Battalion. The armour on the Mk II guy with the hammer is incredible too, I love the helmet. So brutal, as a poster mentioned above.

Also has anyone noticed that the Mk III IW pads are much better then the other version? They have four grills on the mouthpiece, instead of two, and the cheekbone are much more pronounced. I guess that they know that Mk III is the IW's favourite mark.
