Today in the hobby, I received this captain (Games Day 2008!):

Oh wow, I remember seeing that guy being painted up as Gabriel angelos of the blood ravens in a white dwarf...

TITHI... finished the build of my second Imperial Knight, my first for House Terryn.  Went for a Paladin with autocannons to be painted as Baron Balthazar, Ever-Stalwart.

Ahhh, love the feeling of a new project.  Hate the feeling when I look at my bank account.

TITH I was taking all my old books out of their storage boxes finally as new shelves arrived. found these...

...ah memories. damn i'm old.

I really want one of those on the left... stI'll have the one on the right. Good material for some throw back missions in the mission section imo

Today in the hobby I primed eight khazâd guards from the Lord of the Rings and a dirty, filthy tau spotter. The three sniper drones will follow once I've built and based them all... and more importantly when it stops raining.

Basecoated a Fortress of Redemption. If the amount of primer needed was any indication, I'll probably need to buy more paint before I start painting.

Out of interest, how much primer was that? I've got one waiting for paint myself.

TITH I started on altering some of my old metal boxnoughts for my 30k stuff.

Two have had a frozen glue-break session (ended up bending the legs on one so it'll have a new pose) and now soaking in some thinners to remove the old paint.  I've designed a temp right-arm missile launcher using the hurricane bolter arm from the ironclad with a magnetised sarcoph' panel sporting rocket tubes from a cut up q-tip.  Used a Redeemer Heavy Flamer for another right arm and added the fuel tanks, if it turns out well I might make a second.

Also spent an age grinding the torso away from a very old metal marine with mkVI legs, it was damaged already and legs are always in demand.

It's hard to know for sure, but I believe I sprayed at least half a can.

TITHI went to the store to pick up coelia greenshade and perhaps a couple different greys. I came back with perhaps a touch more than that, as they were having a sale. Giant, Cygor, Screaming Bell, and Verminlord combined for under 65 USD. I guess I have some gribblies to corrupt to the true gods.
