Bought another copy of B@C as I didn't want to risk the next set being less suitable for my needs (I'm sure I'll use it buy it might not be as flexible), plus I love MkIV.

Also have some Wolf skull heads coming in for when I get round to buying the FW Apothecaries to make Wolf Priests.

did exactly the same thing!   some decent bargains around (compared to retail, got mine on eby for roughly half price) possibly in light of the new version.

speaking of which, YITH my second B@C arrived in the mail. well.... most of it, with ausPost being the low function servitors that they are. need to go yell at someone there tomorrow morning huzzah!

these are ear marked for ImperialFistExpansion. go the Fists !!

Today in the hobby, I arranged a game against a 'Guard player I work with. I'm currently mulling over the options I have against 'Guard as I've never played against IG ever. Possibly a Exorcist/PE hammer with Celestine and Seraphim with some BSS to go with it...

Today in the hobby I:

  • Got the new White Dwarf, read it, read it again, enjoyed it very much, read it again, noted Charlo's and Jolemai's models in a couple pictures in the Army of the Month article, continued to enjoy the mag quite a bit. I like this new WD.
  • Gave into temptation and picked up the new Khârn. Not sure if he's going to convince me to come back to my CSM or KDK but at least he gives me something to paint up for the Call of Chaos.
  • Restocked some paint, and as a result painted a little bit (not much, as, well, it's me we're talking about here.)
  • Purchased the base models for one of my first vows of the Tale of 20 Hobbyists. I'm happy about that, and now I've got some particular bits extra that I'm happy about.
  • Perhaps most exciting of all, I hit 2k posts on my favorite forum on the Internet. It's a meaningless milestone, as this particular forum doesn't have any sort of ranking system based on post count or anything like that (not that I would really give a damn about such things) but I'm happy about it nonetheless. So here's to you, my fellow frater, for forming one of the greatest online communities that this world will ever know. I know I'll be raising my glass to the B&C tonight! :smile.:

YITHI Painted three out of four of the death watch terminators (cyclones, t' hammers and s' shields oh my) whom I'll need for a game in a week or two, Have almost finished detailing watch captain Artemis and have started doing the details on my death watch master

TITHI Plan on napping a fair amount and going forwards to the evening there is a chance of light snoozing, although there is also a (slight) chance that the fourth termie might see some paint tonight:wink:

Decided to get a Knight or maybe even a Scout/Battle Titan and name it after my grandfather who passed away this morning.

So now I'm looking to make his name more Gothic and trying to work out what to choose for the dedication. I'm leaning Knights so I can create a household and have him lead a few. Heresy era of course.

TITHI ordered my first ever sisters models since first seeing them nearly 20 years ago.

2 squads. Heavy flamer and multimelta. Canoness with combi flamer and 10 seraphim. I cant describe how excited I am.

I need to make the most of them when they arrive because the old ball and chain is likely to kill me shortly after...

You won't be disappointed , they are gorgeous, and make interesting kill teams too :)

TITHI Finished the last of the four death watch termies (aside from still needing a pair of cyclones and two death watch shoulder pads that is), Did some more work on Artemis (really like that model) and put the finishing touches on my death watch master

Next I plan on doing some bikes (just got some weapon swaps to do as they've been in the death watch for about two or three years already) and possibly a drop pod, Then it's on to the kill teams:biggrin.:

They're due to arrive today and I honestly feel like a child at Christmas...

I saw them first when I was about 8 as my friends big brother had an army of them. He gave me my first marines and I was hooked on 40k from then on.

I never bought any sisters though despite loving the look and the fluff but now after a short break from he hobby thanks to finding out how much fun alcohol and women can be.

Started again earlier this year and I've grown my marine army from absolute zero to just under 3000 points in about 9 months but all that time I've been looking longingly at the sisters.

Decided its now time to take the plunge and forget value for money and just make a dream come true.

TITH I played against blood angels...

1500 pts

3 objectives

The Ultramarines 1st and 2nd company boys did me proud.

Blood Angels casualty list:

Baal Predator.

2x rhinos

Death company vanguard squad

Astorath (squished in close combat by my assault marine sergeant... Some awful rolling from the BA player)

Death company dreadnought

And on top of all that Dante failed to.arrive from reserve ever single turn!

Ultramarines casualties:

2 assault terminators

3 storm Bolter/power fist terminators

All three objectives secured and held.

Crushing victory!

A good day.

Today in the hobby, I took my Sisters out for their second ever game. 1K versus Footslogging Guard (although they didn't actually move that much :laugh.: )

The results of that game can be found Here. I also bought some Scions to use as Inquistorial Henchmen and ordered some slotta bases for some poor Sisters who don't have any. Tomorrow after work, I'll be making my final Kill Team list for my local GW's Kill Team event!

Edited by Aquilanus

Today I finished ten Assault Marines, I'm halfway to completing a full squad of twenty.

I am also prepping myself to build another ten Kakophoni, thankfully I distracted myself by going back and finishing a Contemptor. . .

This will surely end well.
