@Capt. Semper: Sprry again this is the last... I had to change the Sergeants equipment to 2 Power Fists and Combat Shield, I already removed the Combi-Flamer and Power Sword and adjusted the Points Cost... I really need those fists for those new MC.

I'm the one getting Assaulted on their Turn 1. When I infiltrate my Command Squad. I need a threat increaser or a way to ensure that my enemy focuses on that one Squad for atleast 1-2 Game Turns... but once they don't shoot and just send in a Tervigon or even a Carnifex and just have me hacking away at a near impervious high Toughness/wound MC for 3-4 Turns the squad itself becomes a waste. If I add in 3-4 (Counter Attack) Power FIst Attacks the squad becomes a Melee threat even to Monstrous Creatures and they end up using high powered weapons or torrent of fire on that squad... in the meantime my Vindis and Terminators goes unmolested.

Emperor damn it. Still haven't really been able to get started properly. I should finally have the sprays I need tomorrow or Monday to properly get started. But even that aside other things have been taking my time, plus local "events" have been eating up the motivation. The FLGS closed, taking with the easiest place to play in among other things. Also the tournament that was supposed to take place the next weekend (not this coming one, after that) was cancelled apparently due to lack of participants. Damn it.

 

Worry not though, brothers. At the very least I will complete the Vow I have. But this downtime seriously eats up into the total time available, so any further vows will definitely suffer as consequence given my awfully slow painting speed.

No longer will I shame Dorn's name with idleness!  I answer the challenge  of E Tenebrae Lux and vow for a total of 1189 points

 

   - Master of Sanctity with artificer armor/ storm bolter/ auspex/ master crafter weapon and cenobyte servitor

   - Assault Terminator Squad of 5 with crusader seals

   - Land raider  with pintle mounted storm bolter

   - Crusader Squad of 10 initiates with meltagun/ power fist/krak grenades/crusader seals

   - Crusader Squad of 10 initiates with power weapon/ flamer/ crusader seals

   -  Assault Squad of 5 with plasma pistol/ flamer/ power fist

 

Also, I shall join Brother Darklight with a Penance Vow. Should the Dark Angels have more points completed by July 15th I will paint  Lord Belial and 5 Deathwing Command Squad Terminators.

(And if we beat them the money goes to a Stormtalon/ or -Raven and I shall decorate it's flying stand with the corpses of aforementioned Iron Warriors.)

So, after accepting a challenge (sort of) by Brother Scipio, concerning my planning for my upcoming vows. (http://www.bolterandchainsword.com/topic/276480-andhils-etl-ii-wip/?p=3391487)

I have decided to issue a further challenge to all of you:

I hereby challenge my fellow Templars: If we (the BT) have more points completed than Chaos by the time I finished my 4th vow (We'll wait for the weekly update to confirm) I will add a Stormtalon Gunship equipped with a Typhoon missile launcher (145pts) to the aforementioned Crusaders in my 5th vow.

(The amount of Crusaders vowed at that time depends on the time remaining, we don't want to lose everything I worked for, now do we?)

Who among you will face our true enemies, and push back their so called 'Black Crusade' once again? They have tried and failed twelve times. TWELVE times! While we, the greatest of the Sons of Dorn, the Knights of Sigismund, the Black Templars have Crusaded for 10,000 years! Our Crusade is Eternal and Unstoppable! And I for one, will meet the traitors head on! I have thrown down the gauntlet, who among you will pick it up? WHO AMONG YOU WILL ACCEPT THIS CHALLENGE?
