elfatto
After the rush and pressure to get my Alpha Legion army done, I now have some time to paint up some minis that I had picked up earlier in the year but never got around to. I had impulse bought some units to add to my Death Guard, and here is the first of them, a Contemptor dread. I tried out some weathering techniques using enamel-based washes that I read about on this dread, and I think they turned out pretty well. Anyways, enough words, picture time: http://i.imgur.com/89Fa7tN.jpg http://i.imgur.com/y9QEpC9.jpg http://i.imgur.com/JVUNUyt.jpg http://i.imgur.com/5xmF2jv.jpg http://i.imgur.com/RYA4qBZ.jpg http://i.imgur.com/0FspkYz.jpg Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/278454-death-guard-contemptor/ Share on other sites

Sothalor
Wow. That guy looks like he's been through hell (in a good way). I have to say my favorite effect is the claws on the fist. They're subtle and simple, yet incredibly menacing and really fit the model as a whole.
