Haha! :D Interestingly, I had one day about a month ago in which I had nothing, NOTHING on my painting desk. I decided to take on Erebus and Kor Phaeron. I had been putting them off for so long that I was super looking forward to them. Then I got invited to a Kill Team tournament. Then they released Cawdor. I still plan on painting my Kill Team (at least the ones I built specifically for the tourny), and I am 100% going back to the Cawdor. I just never seem to have the time to paint. I just did mine straight up bronze for everything; the model has so many things going on, I figured I'd save myself any headache on clashing textures. Remember that Dark Apostle you hated painting? Go back and look at it; most of the designs for erebus are lifted right off of that model, to the point that its pretty much the same thing give or take some bling and parchment. Yeah tell me about it, the detail on Erebus is much clearer though. The Dark Apostle mini did not go through the casting process very well. At least, the one I got didn't. Nothing wrong with it, just not sure it fits my other Word Bearers. Here is some pics of Kor Phareon on his own. It looks like he has had a stroke. This may actually be intentional. His creaking body has been pumped full of so many drugs and undergone so many surgeries, that his features represent that. But it doesn't look sinister, it just looks a bit derpy. Other than that, I am pleased with these two.
