Dictatortot
After agonizing over which course to take with my new Furioso Dreadnought kit (Furioso, Furioso Librarian, or DC), I've tentatively settled on the vanilla Furioso. However, there aren't many differences between that and the Librarian model: with a few magnets the signature weapons could easily be switched out. That leaves the distinct front panel/faceplates, though, which don't seem like great candidates for magnetizing or easy detachment/reattachment. Has anyone hit upon a way of making those parts freely removable and attachable? Morollan
The sarcophagus is actually pretty easy to magnetise.I just put a blob of green stuff inside the sarcophagus lid and imbedded a magnet in it, then glued another magnet on the corresponding location inside the sarcophagus. I'll see if I can get some pics this evening to illustrate it better. Did mine a couple of years ago so I'm struggling to remember the exact locations of magnets. Xenith
Paint the force weapon arm blue, I wouldnt bother with the face plate, It will be pretty obvious from that loadout what he has Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/280594-furioso-vs-furioso-librarian-wanting-it-both-ways/#findComment-3469273 Share on other sites
Tyr13
Or take the librarian faceplate and swap the head with something suitable. Looks like a venerable Furioso with two cc arms, or like a Furioso Librarian with the FW. Converted an Ironclad that way. Just pop a shoulderpad and piece of sprue where the librarian mask would go and youve got a great base for a different head. :) Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/280594-furioso-vs-furioso-librarian-wanting-it-both-ways/#findComment-3469380 Share on other sites
Dictatortot
Slick ideas, folks ... and using the green stuff hadn't occurred to me at all. Thanks much, everyone!
