hello everyone

 

so ive been a long time lurker of these forums and until recently too shy to actually get involved and start posting my on stuuf up. so i thought id start a little thread to show off some of the models ive completed recently, and as something i can add to in the future with my commission work and anything else i may be working on at the time. 

i feel this is the best place to post because im rubbish at taking WIP pictures as i tend to drink too much coffee and get carried away with the painting.

I am not so keen on the Howling Griffons colour scheme (nothing to do with your painting skills) but the idea to put GK heads on the Centurions is...interesting. It definitely changes the aesthetic in a way I quite like.

Love your Lysander/Praetor model. Really, really cool.

Just posting again to say that whilst I still don't like the HG scheme on vehicles + centurions, your HG Tacticals officially make me love the scheme on infantry. Really awesome.

not at all mate its actually one of the servitors heads that comes with the techmarine

 

it was an absoloute bitch to find 2 the same let alone hack them off (they were both metal) but i really wanted to have one person lead my army in power and terminator armour. plus that head looks brutal which is the general theme with my army seeing as most are equipped with boarding shields

the shield was made using three layers of plasticard and and liquid greenstuff, i just upscaled the shield from the boarding shields kit

Very nice work, especially loving the HG and the IF Contemptor. The GK heads on the centurions does look really good. :tu:
