JeffTibbetts
I love how it's starting to look like the ground under him is swelling and rising up with his power. This is shaping up (no pun intended) to be an epic model. Minx
@Jeff, Im very happy it looks that way, that is exactly what we are intending!! @Dornsfist, Thanks! We have more to come after this, but will have a slight break, our sculptor will be working on some secret and commercial projects that we cant share. However we will have looootttttssss of painting to show :) Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/281764-minx-studio-deathwing-hqs-conversionsculpting-the-libby/page/4/#findComment-3516989 Share on other sites
irwit
thanks for tips on teh sand paper. Thats great help again :) Did you sculpt that head? Thats awesome! Have you considered doing casts ? There are no decent 3rd party marine heads out there, I think they would be really popular. Ive just spent £20 quid of skull casts so think what people would pay for some decent alternative heads, especially those that are not plastic! Minx
@irwit, We did sculpt it, we are thinking about a line of heads and armours, and not sure on timeline, we are super busy with many sculpting projects. We will have a line of minis out early-mid next year, plus are doing a lot of work for other companies! We are trying to team up with some people to produce stuff. Also if you or anyone, knows of a person who is a good sculptor, and wants to move to Canada to join us in studio. We are really in need of another sculptor!!!!! Minx
@The_Chaplain, well, this librarian will now be fighting a daemon prince scratch sculpt,to complete the duel. Then we have a few armies (Chaos Daemons, a couple privateer press and a GW style Black Templar) Sculpting wise, he will be busy with our own line as well as commercial work, so you wont see too much more on that front until next year. BUT that being said we have a lot of marine stuff coming sculpt wise next year!! @Olisredan, You should see him fully assembled ;) Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/281764-minx-studio-deathwing-hqs-conversionsculpting-the-libby/page/4/#findComment-3519426 Share on other sites

Minx
^TOO MANY CHAPLAINS!!!! But seriously.. Yep brass sheet cut in strips.. it can also be used as support to make a thin flowing piece of cloth. Arnold(Malleus) will be better after his trip to France(I command it!), he leaves in less than a week, and I will be sleeping eating and pooping at the studio to get paint work done while hes gone :P Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/281764-minx-studio-deathwing-hqs-conversionsculpting-the-libby/page/4/#findComment-3521484 Share on other sites

Olis
I like it even more so, now that I've seen yet more of it. Minx
The book is actually resting against his wrist, which is what gives him the support to hold it that way.
